His "Te/De no! No no!" sounds so adorable to me, I used to watch some compilation video with this just to see it repeatedly, a few years back. I have never even watched the anime.
Benimaru literally fighting off an upgraded Raphael's command to sleep until he was specifically told to is such a badass moment. His mental strength is strong enough to resist Rimuru on the level of a True Demon Lord. I can't wait for his ascension to be animated.
Well during harvest festival,the 12 guardian lords evolved,even zegion fell asleep.while diablo just swept those like 100k souls.moking others for sleeping😂

Benimarus and the Kijins designs are the reason I initially even got into this anime I was so skeptical about an anime with a slime protagonist now this is my favorite isekai😭😭

@pi7366 Souei would be a Naruto ninja if he was always being seen and getting into fights. Having him in few fights but working in the background works better.
There are so many great male characters in this anime. That show loyalty, strength and character. Benny, Soui, Hakaru, Noir and the Big Daddy of em all Geld.
In the manga it showed that they do that because he would burn through magicles like crazy if he didn't. But surrounded by a barrier spell it's actually stronger. Takes less magic to start and almost none to continue burning

At least he's aware of his powers how destructive it can be he casts a barrier spell around his dark flames to minimize casualties
