Thanks for your comment :) not as cold as in Canada ^^ but there was some ice on the road, made the ride a bit more tricky for me, but luckily you can always stop for a warm cup of coffee!
@@Buzzalong.cycling, I just looked at the Strava and Komoot links you have above in your Description. The Netherlands are one amazing collection of bike trails. You could pretty much ride a different route every weekend for the whole year. Lucky you 😛
@@MrJx4000 yes, I am very lucky, It is like a cycling paradise here, just some hills missing ^^ if you ever visit the Netherlands let me know, I also have good tips for coffee stops.
@@Buzzalong.cycling, you should do a few more of these local routes. I'd like to visit there and wander around Amsterdam and cycle around but overseas travelling might out of the question for the next while.
Hello, I am from Chihuahua, Mexico and in May I will go to Europe on my bicycle, I will leave from Madrid to Monaco and from there I will go to Paris, I will do the routes in Eurovelo, I wanted to see if you could give me some advice, I would really appreciate it. I really liked your videos
Many thanks for your comment Carlos :) sounds like a great trip! If you start cycling from Monaco I will suggest following the Eurovelo 8 until near Avignon, is a really nice city, I stayed there, with amazing restaurants and wine. Then you can switch to Eurovelo 17, Via Rhôna that runs by the river until Lyon. You can find a video about these routes on my channel : th-cam.com/video/xyHi2V8noXs/w-d-xo.html After that maybe you can try to get to the Eurovelo 3 that goes until Paris. I will recommend bringing wide tires for your bike, at least 28 mm as a lot of the Eurovelos are still under construction or have unpaved sections. Also try to book hotels and camping spots outside the city centers, they tend to be more flexible about storing your bike :) have fun and enjoy your trip.
