Yup, problem is he can make more in 1 fight with Conor than he can make in multiple fights, I would say like 5 fights with bums, and issue is he just waited and waited and waited and now it's 2 yrs. He gets PPV outside of his contract and Conor will make him 5+ million. He'd probably get 500k max fighting other guys.
I called Connor not liking all the eyes on Chandler and to take from him the traction he had made as a fighters fighter. What better way to do it then just say you'll fight him and then never fight. Here's my prediction, and I bet I'm right. Conor's out of the fight altogether. Why, is up for speculation, but here's how the UFC is playing it. They're not ready to announce it yet for two reasons... One, ticket sales will plummet, and they got a LOT of investors. And two, they are in the process of booking a BIG fight, because losing Conor is a massive blow, and they are doing pre-damage control, by booking something worthy of a Conor slot. On top of that, the shoe in fighter is using this to negotiate top dollar. My prediction for the main event is... Chandler vs Holloway for the BMF title.
I think its something like this as well. Dana let it slip when talking about Islam for the BMF after 302 and he said they were already working on a BMF title fight. Why would they need a BMF title fight so soon after the last one at 300? Why wouldnt Max be fighting Ilia instead later this year? Only reason Max would fight for BMF if is something happened that is more urgent and important than the 145 title, and the only thing that would do that is Conor and Chandler falling through. Max vs Chandler is a solid exciting fight with 2 guys that can make 155, the question is does max really want to risk it all just to save the UFCs problem with conor when he worked so hard to get these options in the first place

What are you talking about? They moved all 10,000 tickets in 5 minutes. People definitely knew about the conference. We were buzzing for it. There hasn’t been a Conor UFC presser in YEARS. And I don’t think he’s done an Ireland presser since 2015.

UFC doesn't want to pump up a fighter with a presser in another country if Conors is asking to leave in 2025. They probably told him you're going to get the same fight week media like the rest of the roster if you're not going to be with us much longer. Conor didn't cancel it was the UFC because Dana wanted to negotiate a new contract in person with Conor but conor wasn't with it so UFC said fine well cancel it and see you fight week.
They even cancel the fight you can't buy ppv ... I don't think so i think about injury or conor is not ready to fight yet or drug test failed

Maybe he forced their hand with that nye video so they all played along and had a later date in mind like the Sphere in September and had Jon vs Stipe for IFW but Jon got injured so they were hoping to get Conor sooner and Dana was flying to Ireland and using the presser to sweeten the deal and get him to sign for IFW and possibly a new contract and Conor passed. Conor was asked to co main with Jon vs stripe headlining a while ago and conor said give me my walking papers at the end of the year and you have a deal. UFC said no. So conor said well than balls in your court. UFC said well actually Jons not going to make june 29th we need a headliner and well sweaten the deal with a presser in your home town. Conor said ok about that contract? UFC said well revisit after June 29th. Conor said fine. Then cancelled the presser.

They probably wanted to negotiate a new contract in Ireland and Conor passed so the ufc said see you fight week than. He pretty much told us he wants to fight out his contract this year by saying he wants to fight in September and December after the Chandler fight. He’s got two fights left after Chandler on his current contract.

Conor on the Mac life was seemingly excited about the press conference before they announced it too. Something’s not right though. If Conor was just trying to focus he would have not said there were obstacles beyond their control. He would say he’s locking in.
My gut feeling has always been, Connor won't fight. He just doesn't seem like someone who is capable of pulling it off to even show up. I've seen people spin out on drugs and alcohol and thats what I'm seeing here

He has an SA court case that is set for mid summer, the courts are angry that he accepted the fight and want the trial to go forward during the summer and not in November like his lawyers are pushing for

I had addict friends back in the day and you couldn't rely on there word for a second, just as Conner cant be for his word. so i cant believe anyone is still talking about this guy, he's never gonna show up for the chandler fight let alone actually do a training camp for it, not in a million years, he's an alcoholic and the way he parties cocaine is usually involved, who knows if he partakes there or not. Honestly, I’m kinda surprised there is still so much attention around Conor. The guys sells, despite only winning like one bout in the last decade.
I wonder how long he will continue to sell like this? Could he just lose every single fight and still be a huge draw? I think a lot of the fans who really adore him simply don’t care- they want him main eventing each card even if he loses every match.
Dana said he’s was jumping on his jet right after 302. Chandler is a trustworthy guy. So it’s Conor who had an issue. Probably drugged out and would have been an embarrassment.

These issues are territory Chael can't relate to. Yes, yes...he did his PEDs, etc. But Chael has never experienced the lifestyle of a drug/alcohol addict. So the behavior of people who do suffer from such afflictions seems bizarre - almost mystical and inexplicable. Observers desperately search for answers for the bizarre behavior and self-defeating decisions. But that IS ADDICTION. Conor is the the throes of genuine drug addiction. Through that lens - if you've never been so unfortunate to be able to look through it - it all makes sense. Conor will NEVER fight again.

When my shin got broke it was so unswollen that the hospital wasnt going to xray cos they didnt think it was broke, i couldnt move my leg tho so to rule it out they did n xray n i had a clean break, took 12 weeks to fully heal n was weak for years afterwards, i had about 3 sort of refractures, just sayin.
