Would like to seek clarification what term is used when a Buyer hires an inspector to represent the former in the inspection of equipment from a Vendor or Manufacturer. The inspector may be hired from an inspection agency or other sources.

I do have certificate of Third party inspection authority from Bureau Veritas. But unemployed, i need more information about this proffession
