nearly one year online and 21568views...not bad... very nice timelapse video of very technical and engenering manpower installation. nice music! can anyone please explain to me, for what kind of pipeline the tiltable? tower is used? is there any video on yt where i can watch it in action? thanks so far
MrDriftspirit check out huismans web site, they explain it there Basically subsea pipe up to 20” dia. You should be able to find videos with the right search terms, try “reel lay”
Also we have HUISMAN Crane in our Subsea Construction Vessel in Caspian Sea. Really this crane fully SHIT. Traction winch E/motors. Whip E/motors Boom E/motors problems every day in this shit. Who create this crane I don`t know unbelievable, you have main hoist 900 t, whip 30 t and auxiliary 15 t. if you need lift 70 t, cargo you have to use main hoist.
Amazing amount of power and kinetic energy in those. So much weight, and yet the ship remains stable. WOW.
