I think this is my favorite iteration of the Thompson. Not so late in the war as to not have the frills on the barrel or not operate with a drum mag, but not so early as the 20s where the only thing attaching the foregrip with the barrel is a thin rod that looks like it may snap from recoil alone.

You want to know what I liked about this video.... F**king everything. Now, that being said, it's not just the gun action, which is key, in fact, I could have probably watched several more minutes of clip in, clip out, stock off, stock on, etc etc, but the gloves, the black shirt, army regalia, la ti da and so on. Simple. Sleek. And a bit dark and somewhat criminal. Could make a great scene in a mob movie. Maybe you should pitch Hollywood for gun handling scene. If all of the gun handling videos are like this... I'm ready to get started. Bravo! I would love to hear it fired though. (that's what I was searching for when I found this page, the sound of a Thompson machine gun being fired.)

This Thompson appears to have an incorrect rear sight. It looks or should not have the cuts compensator . Something is not right .

It’s the late production 1928a1 model with the simplified rear sight and the Cutts compensator. It’s the further M1 variant that was without a compensator

Kinda BORING !!!! where is your drum mag ? 1928's will take a 20 round stick or 50 round drum. ....Why not live fire ?
