Dang, go to learn where the battery is on my wife's car, even before I open the hood, and now I want to watch more of your videos!
You did a terrific job on this, I really appreciate the camera angles and the all of the information as you go along.
    Thank you ❤

Thanks for posting this, just used it to change the battery in my 2019 Santa Fe. One thing I noticed in the video you said 13mm socket for the bottom bracket and 12mm when re-attaching it. I knew something was funky when I tried the 13 and it didn’t work, and the 12 did. Just in case anyone else runs into same thing.

I'm right with you with the memory saver, things like the bcm tcm modules they do have a relearn but everything takes time and sometimes it doesn't go the way it should. Also even though my vehicle came factory with a lead acid battery I replaced it with an AGM battery. The benefits are many!! Great video jim. 👍 🇨🇦

Thanks for the video! I didn’t have the booster pack, but feel very lucky that my car didn’t completely reset: all seat memory positions, radio presets, etc were still in place. Whew!

That booster doesn't come with both of those cables, does it?

what about putting vaseline or lithium grease on terminals? what about putting those round cushions under the battery connector to prevent crusting at terminals?

I can't find the Foxpeed G29 booster pack. Is there a newer version that's available that I can use in the same way as this video?

I was told by my dealer my battery current sensor is defective. My 2019 santa fe ultimate has push button start not key, but battery looks just like yours. Supposedly this snsor is part of negative bat cable? Are you familar with this part, #37180?

Where can we get one of those cables with the power adapters on both ends like the one you used?

any advantage to plugging a booster pack directly into the OBD port to save the battery instead of the accessory Port? I have a device with an OBD connector on one end and a plug to go into a booster pack on the other. Seems to me this is more reliable.

so I have a 2018 Sante FE XL that has the original battery still. I was unable to start it last Christmas so I know it's time to replace the battery. I have an odd issue where if I use the driver side power window, I will randomly blow the 25amp fuse. Would you think that the old battery is causing this- or does this indicate a possible issue elsewhere? I have had to buy a dozen 25amp fuses to replace on the fly right now hahaha.

When using the Battery Booster Pack to keep memory you used Key to not start but put in basic mode. I don't have a key. I have a fob and a push button to start my 2019 Santa Fe. How do I deal with that?

Good question. Push the start button but don’t step on the brake pedal. All the lights on the dash will come on and the car will not start. That is equivalent to turning the key to the on position. Thank for asking

My 2019 Santa Fe has a push button start instead of using a key. So I'm wondering if I turn on accessory (one press of the button without foot on brake pedal) to retain memory will work in my car as I don't know if it will remain in accessory mode after the battery is removed.

@@teresarobinson3851 No I haven't. When it comes time to change the battery, I'll probably just do the same as I did with my previous cars -- use a battery pack with an OBDII connector. I don't want to chance it with the push button. This guy changed his AGM way too soon at just 3 years old. My 2019 was produced in Jan 2019 and the batt is still going strong (soon to be 6 full years).

Are you sure that car requires AGM?. Mine is a SEL Plus and it has a regular one.

So…followed your instructions and used the same Foxpeed g29 into the same plug…useless. It auto turns itself off when you use the banana plug output port even though it was plugged into the car and the ignition key was in the accessory position - I checked half way through and to my surprise the Foxpeed was off. Turned it back on thinking it was too late but what the heck, and again it turned itself off after ~20-30secs. Funny thing is the car retained its memory.
I know the pack turned off for sure, as not only was its display off but the cable I got to connect it to the car has led lights on it that light up when power is flowing through it, and both times I checked the lights were off (they were on each time I turned the Foxpeed on).
