Very cool. The word "organic" comes to mind. Overused in this context, but applicable here, I think. I will be very interested if you do another video comparing your Seaboard with this - as a controller only, of course.

The adventure begins! It's been interesting to me to watch videos of people playing the Osmose for the first time, especially experienced keyboard players. I think not unintentionally bending notes will require a little time, but not immediately pushing the keys all the way down (at least to where aftertouch starts) may be a hard habit to break for some. A lot of the nuance in the different patches only happens when the key is slowly pressed down, shaping (like an ADSR envelope) the sound. I still have at least another month to go before I receive mine ... What I'm looking forward to exploring (beyond the normal things) is the Portamento Glide and the MPE Arpeggiator. I'm also looking forward to more videos from you on your experiences with this beautiful instrument!

Digging the accordions in the back. The Hogwart continuum engine is worth the wait.

It looks amazing. I received my Rise 2 the same day which I love. Hope you have many hours of fun.

That looks so fun to play! I never had the pressure or wiggle expression controls built into the keys. Id love to adjust the notes individually like that. Stuff like that really makes instruments feel like part of your body.

Please tell us your final analysis on the osmose vs the rise; I’m interested in your take concerning which of the two gives the most flexibility and which gives the most sense of connection with the sound. I understand you may consider one “better” than the other in regards to these questions but of course I would like to know …if you could only keep one which would it be. Thank you!

Thanks. Was it new or refurbished? I just got my refurbished unit, but the 70+ pages printed manual wasn't there. Was it in yours?

brand new. i'd dropped a down payment pre-covid and then waited almost 3 years. that said... no printed manual for us early adopters! still loving mine.

Ok. Very awesome. Love the way you change chords by sliding. Those keys move sideways. Woah. Need some closeups ! … also a “good with oat milk.”

How do you find programming the Egan matrix? I agree the presets are great, but I found the matrix interface to be unintuitive. For this reason I sold mine.

totally unintuitive. i'm not programming in Max at all, just fiddling with the Macros. it's not quite enough. i sort of knew this going in though.
