So many women n men have experienced this while they was living their best life, they never expected it, because everything was positive in their life before. When you see positive in every situation, you Dnt see the negative clearly. I’m glad she realized it n it showed her to be cautious. Seeing the negative too in situations can save you. Jennifer you’re awesome to tell your story and know we are so proud of you❤️❤️❤️✌🏽👍🏽✊🏽🙏🏽
Black women are resilient. God made us in His image and likeness. We can overcome many things and come back stronger/better than before trials/tribulations through God and faith in Him.
This is gold. When we take accountability for our part, it frees us. Allows healing and the ability to move foward versus remaining in victim mode. Much respect JL!
Good for you Jennifer. Well done 👍
I love her realness. A real woman, and I love how she speaks as you can tell she has done her therapeutic work!
Nope you can't hear it? She's mad as she ever was. That's vengeance you're hearing.
El Chatfield… wrong!

I absolutely ADORE this gift of life🙌🏾 Jenifer Lewis is truly a blessing in my life. Can’t wait to meet her.
I absolutely admire her strength and courage. I have always loved her in movies, and loved to listen to her talk. Hearing her tell her story, I have a different view of her. As a woman she is strong, beautiful and she encourages me to want to speak out about my experiences I've had in my life. Profound, God bless her!!
I love and tremendously admire Jenifer for so many reasons, her courage, fearless honesty, strength, grace, boldness, and out of all that she has triumphed over in her life, she is one of the funniest people I’ve ever seen.
You are so beautiful Jenifer and such an incredible inspiration to everyone.
❤she’s amazing … I could listen to her speak all day. ❤
He's probably in prison working his "magic" on one of the female prison guards. Sadly, men like this never seem to be without a woman.
Sadly sounds like it's all he knows..
I appreciate her sharing her story. This happens to others and they say nothing because they’re embarrassed but he “had the wrong girl”.
She's strong beautiful talented dignified honest humble giving soul
Thank you for sharing your story so openly and honestly. What an important public service.
I love Jennifer Lewis as well. She's a real powerhouse entertaining person.
If you didn't love Jenifer Lewis before, you have to love her after watching this interview. An American treasure, honey!
Thank you again for sharing your experience and American Greed for bringing more light to this con.
I love Jenifer, but had never heard this story. I appreciate her honesty and she said some key things that helped me to understand my failed marriage. I am healing because like Ms. Lewis stated, " I am doing the things now that make me happy to balance being betrayed" and "I wasn't paying attention." He may have "trumped" me, but I drank the kool-aid and believed the lies without question. Thanks for sharing her story, truly empowering.
My mother was scammed out of $1 million dollars!! She sold her car, properties, taken out new mortgages and borrowed money just to satisfy this bums thirst...I am a law enforcement officer and she wouldn't listen to me. She was a trustee in the church and was embarrassed to tell anyone. I threatened to get him taken down by the FBI and mom finally stopped giving up everything that she worked for. UNREAL!!!
I totally respect Ms. Jennifer for coming out with her honesty and warning folks in the future what to watch out for. Thank you 😊
I'm so glad she said listen to your intuition and pay attention. I've always said when someone is conned or taken advantage of what is blocking the intuition that they can't hear that little voice. Something told me, Something said, I had this feeling etc
I'm still surprised that a wealthy, well-known lady like her wouldn't be even a little bit suspicious about this "person", and would have had him INVESTIGATED after the first date. Jennifer must have been in an emotionally needy place to have fallen for his lies. God bless her, and I thank her for her honesty and unselfishness in putting this experience out there to help other vulnerable ladies.👍👍👏👏🙏🙏😍😍
I met Jennifer at a very trying time in my Life in 2009. She & I sat & ate vegan wraps together for several hours in Studio City. She's raw...she's real. She has a good heart & simply 'trusted' a person cleverly disguised as genuine. My situation 'then' mirrors the very situation she later went thru with Tony Mariot aka Bryce Carrington.
Thank you Jennifer for researching this clown. I did the same thing with the so called 'Spiritual leader'/sociopath I thought l knew. Great job!!!! Love & very proud of you Jennifer.🧘🏾♀️🙏🏽
👍💝Brava! She has inspired me. I am so glad she decided to speak out. I hope this gives me and other people the inspiration and strength to also speak out. There are lots of Antonios (male & female) out there to beware of & be aware of. Thank you for speaking out Jennifer. 🙏💝
So many people searching for love needs to hear this story. Thank you
I love her,she is such an amazing actress.
I like her straightforwardness and frankness...much respect to Ms. Jennifer Lewis. Everyday, once we start the day; it's game on...the game of Life and we must treat it as such, thank you for sharing! Like you, I believe in telling (sharing) it...ALL! Especially, when it's a lesson to be learned.
“The Mother of Black Hollywood” is in the hizzouse. Love her. 🎼🎥🖤👑
They have yet to give her the just dues she deserves ... dynamic actress, intelligence, resilient, authentic, transparent and a true black icon of our time ... but so underrated. She's too strong for them!💪🏾
Jennifer is so talented. She was very funny as Jackie in the movie Jackie's Back. She deserves to be the lead in more projects. I admire her courage in coming forward and telling this story.
Give us more. Jennifer Lewis
So many women n men have experienced this while they was living their best life, they never expected it, because everything was positive in their life before. When you see positive in every situation, you Dnt see the negative clearly. I’m glad she realized it n it showed her to be cautious. Seeing the negative too in situations can save you. Balanced is key to everything in life. Too much of anything equals a unbalanced outcome.
God bless you ms Jennifer. Pamela in Detroit
I love me some Auntie Jenifer Lewis 🥰 dude met his match with this one! 👊🏾
I’m so happy for her. She cracks me up on Blackish!
Is that what you got out of this whole thing 🤔
today's a beautiful day... and I'm.... going to be... beautiful ...in it" love you Jenifer Lewis💛💖💖💖💛
I love the way she takes accountability and let his reputation bash him worse. This is a good transformation for people to see. She has so many gifts. God always has a plan. Her courage is a testimony.
Good for her for being so real.
So very proud of her we all vulnerable as human beings and it's relatable because we all have had a bad apple and it's so glorious to be able to say( I got you) to many aren't so fortunate he messed with the wrong one and that's what these creeps need the wrong one
i just love Jennifer Lewis. She is so down to earth, relatable and real. Not to mention talented and gorgeous. Thanks for all you do and shoutout to your friend and her detective work!
Jenifer, if you're reading this, I'm so very proud of you. Thank you for sharing your life and story with us over the years
Gotta love this woman. Sometimes in life I think this is exactly how one needs to be. Don’t be afraid, call out the crap but do it wisely.
Her voice is amazing
Thank you for being so open and transparent, Jenifer you are Loved!
Jennifer Lewis gives St.Louis realness every time ❤️🥰 love her ❤️
I knew there was something special about this woman the first time I saw her on screen! She’s right- she really loves and cares about people. To bear your soul and vulnerabilities for the mental health of others- especially those beautiful children- her heart is golden! She is human but she will always be Queen Jennifer Lewis in my book! All hail the QUEEN! 👑
What an inspiration!! She's absolutely magnificent.
“One cannot be where one is not.” We often blame ourselves and others for unfortunate circumstances. Self love and forgiveness helps us grow andmove forward.
This interview left much to be desired. Wish there were more details about what exactly happened.
She was giving snippets you have to watch the episode on American Greed
I am seven minutes into it and I am still waiting for the meat & potatoes, you just saved me some time, now I will just google his name.... 👍
She's amazing and it takes real strength to share a story like this.
Love love this lady she is so fantastic I saw her when she was in Yonkers filming the preacher's wife had Loretta Levine what's going down the hill and they was just giggling with laughter the way she always is with life though God bless you.
Great interview. Loved her honesty and her accountability for "not looking" for the signs. Hope "Brice Carrington" is rotting away in jail.
This lady told me she met a black guy they got married and he wiped her entire life savings out the bank. And that he disappeared as fast as he came. The name he gave was even fake. He was a professional con artist. They are out and around and are real. They got professional women out there as well.
Ms. Lewis is the personification of inspirational & transparency.
Great interview. Thx for the upload.
