battery is not a big deal, with these phones having power saving modes (Galaxy has Ultra power saving mode!). Also carry a $10 portable charger. Battery is not an issue for any phone now.

Honestly the only thing the iPhone 7 has over the Note 7 is the processor. Samsung seriously needs to ditch it's partnership with Qualcomm n stop using the tired ass Snapdragon. The Exynos destroys the Snapdragon on every level.
The Note 7 looks better, the display is not even close, the cameras looked better IMO, USB-C, S-Pen, and is fully customizable with Android. Don't get me wrong the iPhone 7 is nice, but after using a Note 7 the iPhone feels really really dated. The big chunky bezels, low res screens, and tired design just make it feel old compared to other flagship devices. But that's just my opinion...

You can get the S7 Galaxy Edge for under £500 now. I paid £475 for mine 2 months ago. The best one out of the 3 - expandable storage, superior waterproofing, most comfortable, biggest battery, amazing display, audio jack - won't cost you an arm and a leg (apple) and won't blow up (note 7). 🖒 Let's not forget Samsung Gear! Played "Keep talking and nobody explodes" for the first time on it last night and it was amazing! People who say the screen doesn't need to be 1080p on the iPhone are kidding themselves. My S7 Edge is 2k and I still think that needs improving. Definitely hoping for a 4K screen on the new Galaxy!

The Sony Z5 Premium seemed to run it fine. By the time Samsung add 4K screens to their flagships, you can guarantee they'll add in a more powerful CPU too, especially with their obvious interest and focus on VR. 😊 Can't wait for the day to come!
I don't think the Pokemon GO and Snapchat tests were very fair since both are partnered with Apple to deliver the best performance on their devices rather than on Android devices. The Snapchat developers are self-proclaimed iOS fanboys while Nintendo and Apple actually pay each other for more features; i.e., the Pokemon GO Apple Watch app.

S7 Note and Edge do have larger battery capacity and longer promised talking time, but in the actual world, after you have loaded up many apps that do background refresh (facebook, whatsapp, twitter, etc.), iPhone will last longer, thanks to its optimization and one thread one connection notification system. Every time I go out with my friend who has S7 Edge, mine always dies after his.

S7 edge battery is amazing, last all day and still have like 35-40% at night when i'm back home. I dont have an iphone 7 plus, but i do have a 6s plus and the battery is shit compared to the galaxy.

FlameNGames I disagree with durability. firstly the amoled display is very fragile due to it not glued to the touch sensor and glass. A face down smack will kill the screen. The s7 edge will survive a bit due to the curve screen. Plus the s7 is made of glass all around. there are many reports that people who dropped it found out that the back glass cracks. Durability is shit this time round.
The iPhone 7+ has a lower rating but still does better when it comes to being waterproof🤔 (based on the tests I've seen)
And the note 7 is freaking shaking while you're walking oh mu

You forgot the Multi-screen on the Galaxy phones. True multi-tasking e.g. TH-cam and Facebook split-screen; I do this all the time on my S7, Edge, but not possible on my 6sPlus (or the new Iphone7). I think its a big deal which many people don't know about or take advantage of. With Phablet screens this big now, you can maximize every inch. Wireless charging is amazing as well. I just lay my Galaxy down on the wireless charger without having to mess with cables.

The absence of the note 7 had me convert to an iPhone 7 plus. First time with an iPhone. And I imagine I'll be sticking with it for now. The battery is amazing. The speakers are great. The home "button" and Taptic Engine are incredible. It's way too early to tell but I'm guessing a year from now this iPhone will be just as snappy as the day I bought it. Unlike every Samsung note I've had and s6 edge plus that just start to lag after time

+Mario Depends on what you consider better "colors". If you prefer artificial color improvement, than the Note7 is the way to go. In terms of detail, I disagree. The iPhone especially gets exposed during low-light videos such as in 8:20 in which there was greater detail on the Note7. In terms of photos, the Note7's camera had a bit better detail, as you are able to locate far-away objects unlike the iPhone 7. Another key feature is that the Note7 provides a wider angle. The only way the iPhone did better is with certain color-rendering details (such as green, where on the Note7, it is swampy, and on the iPhone, it's better rendered) and portrait-mode, which I must say is an impressive feature.

+Mario "More realistic" is not better, it's more representative of the object, but not "better". Many people love the punchy colors offered by Samsung, including me. I'm fine with natural colors, but I enjoy the color enhancement provided by my s7. If I cared so much about natural colors in a certain scene, I would just tone down saturation (yes, you ARE able to tone down the color saturation). I looked at the shot of the bench, no there is not much difference. In fact, on the Note7, you are able to see more because of the wider angle. Although I will say, the reproduction of green is better on the iPhone. I'm watching this on a 1440p computer monitor :)
In India samsung is selling the exynos version of the galaxy s7 which is much more faster than the qualcomm snapdragon.

I'll give the iPhone the upper hand in speaker quality and video stabilisation but the screen and camera still quality was definitely better on the Note 7. As for performance you saved 0.00004 seconds in opening Snapchat but the Note 7 unlocked a lot quicker. Which is more important?

Apple doesn't offer things android like I like to be able to lock my apps I have a 3 year old that likes to download crap I would have like the opportunity to lock my apps and pictures and messages so he can't delete or get into like I did with my note 4 the only reason why I switched to apple was because I bought the note 4 twice and over time overheated and die super fast even without me using it and it cuts on and off I wish apple would have so you could customize it or personalize it more I think that's what I enjoyed about android with apple it just what you get nothing more nothing less over all iPhone 7 plus is a good phone but Samsung is amazing

Man , camera on the iPhone 7 Plus is killing it ... it's way better in my opinion than Note 7 or S7 Edge..the colors look more real on 7 plus .. on note 7 and s7 edge the colors look fake as fuck , with big vibration to look good at the eye... and man that focus looks almost like a picture take from DSLR camera .. without a doubt the camera on 7 plus beats the shit out of both note 7 and s7 edge
manual features on any of the new LG g or v series has manual focus which gets a ton of bokeh (blurry back ground) without using a dual lens setup. so it's not the only one just the most extreme.

Gamingman 73 I use it to jot down notes in class, write down what I have for homework, edit photos, draw on snapchat, or just doodle in snote. I've had it for over 2 months and can't imagine having a phone without a pen anymore.
A pen is useless,the phone has an adapter, and I do think it could use fast charging but wireless charging is useless
You can't say the pens useless until you've used it, it's great. I'd rather not carry around another cable for my headphones ( also not interested in buying headphones that use lightning port since I wouldn't be able to use them on anything other than my phone. ) Fast charging is great, but wireless charging is useless, but it's still there when I need it.

In my opinion samsung won this battle because the iphone only won speedwise,in every other catergories samsung won.They have a better camera,display,battery and everthing other catergories they won except for the spees catergories....

The camera stills are neck to neck IMO but I'd give the edge to the Samsung for better autofocus and detail. The 7plus has the tele option.
Everything else, I'd give it to Samsung (Design, Screen/body ratio, Display, battery, headphone jack, SD card, fast/wireless charging, option to enjoy VR)
Honestly they all great devices, but if you only have iPhones before, it's gonna be though considering Android phones.

iPhone 7 plus has the better camera and software. The display is just fine. All of these 1440p displays are just gimmicks.
