What you're saying is true. There is a sizeable population of seemingly highly qualified, very well placed women from highly qualified good families, who regularly hit their husbands. They raise their hands first. 2 such women are close friends and 2 male friends' have confessed to being hit by their wives. Just that no one talks about this. Men don't talk out of shame. Women who hit won't say a word but would advertise the violence perpetrated on them in response to them hitting and beating their husband's first. Sad reality n a big taboo topic. Violence (weather by men or by women) is not acceptable. Period.
Some women also get physical with their husband out of frustration of the man not being able to get into a logical discussion and dialogue. He either brings up illogical, unrelated arguments to the discussion or starts giving silent treatment and doesn't take ownership and responsibility of the situation at hand. I am not in favour of violence at all. Neither women should do it nor men. But let's also talk about men's lack of emptional involvement and communication skills.

There are only 2 things that can stop a woman from physically hitting her husband. 1. Fear of law - if she knows her husband will not hesitate to take help of law if she hits him, she probably won't hit him. 2. She realises that hitting her husband is not right and she needs to change her behavior - this is almost impossible because such woman usually think what they did was not wrong.
