Another great review Randy! Was looking at this one a few days ago at my local Christian book store, almost picked it up but was a little more expensive then I wanted. Seeing the app in action though makes me reconsider, seems like a nice source of supplemental study resources. Ended up buying a Holman KJV Ultrathin Reference Bible in genuine black leather since it was on sale from $60 to $30. Might buy this one too. Thanks again for the review!

Thank you for the review, brother. I recently bought this one in the LeatherLike, Black/Onyx. I like it and the filament app seems to correlate to the KJV, which is nice. May I ask where you preach?

Hey Randy. I wrote you about the 53 longprimer. I decided to buy the navy one. I had the black speckled special one that came out a while ago. The cyclopedic concordance edition is just too big. The navy with the Gold gilding looks very nice. I think it looks better than the black and gold. Plus red and blue really work well. The navy is dark so it doesn’t look cartoony. That was my worry.

I just found this while browsing in a Christian bookstore. It's such a great concept. It seems a bit clunky but I'm sure it will be developed to be even more powerful. Thanks did showing me.

12 font is the smallest I would go for. Nice font.

I would've accepted an 11 point text size had it prevented the interior margin from falling in the gutter. Still, I appreciate the 12 point choice because it's that much easier to read. I speak as an owner of this Bible.

I have two questions why do you not the dented pages doesn’t that make the Bible lay flat? I’m confused about that. And you said see needs Internet what about reflect and study I have the brushed pink one in NLT I don’t take my phone out with me cause I heard the app needs Internet. I love how easy it is to understand these bibles. My grandma is all about KJV but me I couldn’t understand it with the way that it was worded the thee and thou it seemed like I couldn’t get the grasp of what I was reading that’s why I went with NLT and my Bible has been a blessing to me and has drawn me closer to God 😀 awesome video!

Thanks Heather! I'm not sure what you mean for the first question. For the second, it only needs the internet for the visual media (maps, videos, and illustrations). The notes and devotionals work without an internet connection.

@@BibleBuyingGuide the first question you said you didn’t like how the pages went into the gutter? Isn’t that a good thing isn’t the pages going that far in the gutter the reason why the Bible stays open? Sorry I confused you with that question

@@heatherpatterson9245 Oh, I'm with you now. I said that wrong. Sorry about that. I was referring to how far the text bends into the gutter. I'd like to see more inner margin space to bring the text onto the flatter part of the page. Another option is to allow the spine to rise upward when the Bible is opened to flatten the page so it doesn't bend all the way down to the table. This would keep the text from bending away from view.

This is the KJV store, they do not sell the corrupt, new age versions of the Bible, the thee’s and thou’s Are easy to understand and personalize God’s message to you, instead of generalizing to a group.

I just don't see the sense in it. If I need electronics to study the Bible, I might as well have an entirely digital resource rather than a chimera. Not busting anyone that likes it, but I will never own one of these. Doesn't make sense.
