I Have 3 premium Bibles. Cambridge Cameo. Allan Claredon 7c, and this Hendrickson one, which is my everyday study Bible. So if anyone is looking for a good compact KJV, I'd recommend these. Thanks, guys. and thank you Randy for your reviews. The only issue I have with the Hen. Hallmark edition is the gutter.
when you open the Bible, I'm still pressing on the pages to read the words. I wish the margins were slightly bigger

Thanks! Same here with the Hendrickson. I hoped it would break in a little more, but it doesn't.

This looks wonderful. I actually purchased one of their thinlines and I really like the layout and the print. As well as the maps. I think I'll have to get one of these.

I CANNOT believe that the publishers of this Bible used the term Common Era, when as Christians we always use Anno Domini, to indicate the Year of Our Lord- to use the former makes it appear one does not believe the Bible. Does this prove the publishers are not necessarily believers, but only interested in making a few quid ? Let there be more Christian based publishers who respect the fact that we live in the years after the Birth of our Lord, and not in some common era.

That bothers me, too. I'll never say BCE. BC and AD for me.

That is a very nice looking Bible! I look forward to getting one. The spine looks really cool with the way they did the raised ribs! Thank you for sharing and your written reviews are absolutely awesome by the way! God bless.

Aside from the spine I think that the Premier series KJV looks a bit more appealing, plus the art gilt on the Thomas Nelson sets it apart. It is a nice Bible, but the price point I do not think justifies it. Great review though, and that spine is something gorgeous.

I was referring to their Large Print Pew Bible. I have it in paperback. It's also available in hardcover. Here's the review: biblebuyingguide.com/hendrickson-kjv-large-print-bible-review/

Great looking bible. Does it use the cambrige or oxford text.

I find end-of-verse references very distracting, and too limited for anybody other than a casual reader.
Cross this bible off my list.

Honest question here not sarcasm.is this bible worth 170$

Great question. It does have the same quality of materials and construction as other Bibles in this price range (Cambridge Concord, Schuyler Westminster, etc). The only thing that stands out as different to me is the grain being embossed instead of natural.
