But it doesn't matter since they are out of stock. It's kind of funny, don't really need another paddle, but I'm a toy nerd and after watching your videos was going to buy the Gearbox Pro Power.... but it was out of stock. Then I was going to buy the Ruby (love the BD and DBD)....... but out of stock. Then I was going to buy a Harache X today.... out of stock until later next month. Problem for the manufacturers is that in the meantime something new comes along to catch my interest, so I don't buy. The good thing for me, I would have added these paddles to my growing paddle collection if they had' been available........ And in the end, no matter how many paddles I gain, 90% of my playtime is with the BD or DBD :)
ALSO, 11SIX24 Recognizes First Responders, Police, Fire, EMS Nurses and Military through GOV-X. Thank you for this recognition and support! I didn’t need another paddle, but after this review and the information above, I had to support them.
Great review and 100% agree. This paddle is amazing and currently my go to choice. I hope we start to see more of these long-handled hybrid shapes in 2024.
The clip at 3:20 really was a good demonstration of watching the ball all the way in and good follow through. That is something I frequently mess up. Sometimes I try to be tricky, and usually i just mess my shot up when i try to misdirect opposition.
Thanks for the input on what to choose at the end of the video. I'm going to buy a new paddle soon. It's been hard to choose what to buy though. So that is helpful.
Just got my Hurache-X after watching yours and a few other reviews. My normal go to game paddle is the CRBN 1X. I decided to use the Hurache in our weekly club tournament this week and took first place! After calibrating my drives (hit a few balls out), I found it performed really well for serves, dinks and volleys. I’m a fan and highly recommend this paddle!
I received my paddle outfitted it with my weight specs and it hits pretty good. It’s my first hybrid shaped paddle so was pretty skeptical but surprisingly I like it. Handle is a bit larger than my Hudef but it works.
Love this paddle. I tend to go with 14mm paddles for the pop and I also use a 6.0 BD as a power option. I originally had concerns about the 6" handle but after using it it has become an asset. This paddle has the perfect balance of power and control for my play style. Nice to get a great paddle at a reasonable price. Man that really hurt seeing you destroy yours, RIP.
Chris, thanx for addressing all of my questions. I am a new pickleballer and like the hybrid shape, though truthfully I have only used the BD and Ruby. I like both but it takes me about 2 games-ish to switch between the two. This maybe a contender when the 6.0 paddles begin to deteriorate. I have an elongated paddle but have been reluctant to try it but I will soon. That model is the Neonic. Coming from a tennis background I know how important the equipment is, and that is why I made the jump straight away to the 6.0 paddles. The difference between the BD and Ruby is even noticed by my inexperienced mitts, and I think it helps my focus to switch between them. I have not wadded into the tournament waters as of yet and if I do I will keep my play to one of them.
Got the Control-x and have been playing with it for couple of weeks. Chris and other reviewers were on point. It's such a balanced all court paddle. I am loving it. Added the 2" lead tape starting above the throat and the sweetspot is even bigger. Thx Chris for the review!
Pre-ordered my Hurache X and received it yesterday. Played two hours this morning and I agree that it is very similar in feel and performance to my DBD. A little extra pop and I was able to control my volleys, dinks and drive. So far an A+.
I've been playing the 11SIX24 YSF for over a year (3-4 times per week) with no issues. Would guess there would be no issues with this paddle. Can't wait to play with the Hurache X. On backorder...Thanks Chris - I'm an "OG" ambassador - Unlike Chris!
You need to look in to the Wilson blaze 13 that’s got the carbon fiber + fiberglass combo. A lot of what you mentioned in this review would apply to that. The handle on it is the best I’ve ever used and it’s turning in to my favorite and I’ve got a filth, dbd, and ruby. Also spin feels more significant than the others with power but controllable. It’s unique
Thanks for all the great reviews. I bought this haircut paddle and first play today was great. I haven’t found the perfect mix of paddle so far and this seems very good. I liked original Hyperion, but swing weight was too high, I wanted to like the power air, but no control. I’ve been playing a Hyperion 14mm that was pretty good mix, but so far the hairs he has a nice balance of quick shots at net with good resets. Thanks!
Great paddle review. Yesterday, I bought a Hurache-X paddle with cosmetic blemishes for $89.99 using the 10% discount code from Brayden’s Hurache-X paddle review. 11SIX24 says that the cosmetic blemishes do not affect the paddles performance. I will have to see if this is true or not when I receive the paddle next week. Thank you.
Another great review! Interesting that the H-X is now sold out....as I bought one two days ago. Still waiting... Coincidence on it being sold out (referring to your recent podcast where you talked about it before this review)? Then again I have to admit purchasing a few paddles from your reviews :)
Your looking like you are improving with the great finish in Hawaii and now that partial game on this vid!. I have an Engage MX 6.0 Pro model which weighed in at 7.90 prior to adding some 2 grams of lt on the center and mid lower throat and the hexicore handle. Now the weight is 8.4 ounces all in. How does this compare to the Horache X. I understand if you do not hav the time for a long answer. Thanks, really dig your channel as well as your collars with Will.Dig his channel also.
awesome content and review, just started playing pickleball this year, playing once week, I'm eyeing the Hurache X Control + and the pickleball apes pro line, which is one is better in your opinion? I used to play alot of tennis before (I used a 1-handed backhand topspin on forehand and backhand and slice), so anyways continue on making great content and reviews and podcast
Any way to get your top favorite paddles for x type of player? Maybe get different types of players and their favorites. Then do a no budget picks vs budget picks
Okay, I honestly have no dog in this hunt, but I'd be really curious about your review of the Vauraus. Another pickleball youtuber, Clifford Joseph (Cliff Pickleball / DUPR 5.5) introduced the paddle a few months ago. I got one to try it out, wanting to graduate to a faster paddle from an original CRBN without losing the control benefits (and not liking the cost of the CRBN power series paddles). I really like the paddle. Much faster than my CRBN and I don't think I've lost any control. It was a bit light, so I added lead tape. I've seen only what appear to be sponsored reviews of the paddle by Cliff's friends; I have no reason to doubt their positive reviews except for bias. Just a thought.
I own the Vauraus and I'm surprised by the lack of reviews. I'm a big fan of the six-inch handle and even with lead tape, it's one of the quickest paddles in my hand. I thought I was growing comfortable with the stock grip, but ultimately had to swap it out. It did experience a crushed core recently (after only three months of continuous play), but I sent it back as it's under warranty. For comparison purposes, I also own and use several Vatic models (Pro and Prism), a Ronbus Gen 1, the Pro Line Energy S, and the DBD.
Update on the Warranty Issue: The team at Cliff Pickleball has been an absolute pleasure to deal with regarding the warranty issue. Not only did they inspect my paddle immediately upon receipt and expedite shipment on the new replacement, they also included a bunch of extras. Communication was great throughout the process. 10 out of 10 considering the circumstances.
I just got mine too! I must say, it has a lot more pop and power than I was expecting. It sounds like I’m playing with a gearbox power pro. I’m actually wondering if I have a delaminated paddle. Anyone else in this boat?
My experience playing with the Hurache-X is completely the other direction. The paddle I have lacks power and pop. It weighs 8.05 oz and it is very difficult to get any power out of it. Did I get a dud paddle? 🤔
Hi Chris, I’ve been using a DBD 14mm for a long time(absolutely love it). I switched from the legacy pro, the slow hand speed at the net and the tennis elbow(guess the swing weight was high for me) wasn’t helping. How does hurache control+ stack against the legacy pro? I personally don’t generate a lot of power, so I’m more of a control player. I generally play 3.5 doubles tournaments. Would appreciate any advise, looking for another paddle. Not sure if I just need to stick to my DBD14. Thank you.
Chris do you think in multi face layers, the position of the fiberglass layer makes a difference? Like the first layer to the core, middle or top? Also, still no word on the grit sheets?
i went from DBD 14mm to the Ruby 16mm and could not be happier.....everything about the Ruby is perfect for my game....if I had seen this paddle a year ago I would have probably tried it but now I am in a good spot...glad to see market is getting saturated and prices are coming down with high quality products
@@Roboto_Gato Yes! Worth the hype especially once you are able tame the power on your drops/dinks. Price point is perfect. Only point I would say this paddle could be improved on would be if it got the spin to reach 2000+ RPM.
Joola C2 I'm not sure. Haven't hit it much. 002 would have more pop and power, lower swing weight, but waaaaaaay smaller sweet spot and it uses paint grit. It's a good paddle, but takes a higher level player to use it effectively compared to the Hurache-X.

haha my bad guys, it's actually $10 off not 10%. Completely flubbed that line.

Sure they are. Scroll down their home page until you see this “Military/First Responder/Education Discount”

Omg. I’ve been craving a paddle review from you for SO LONG…. Thank you 🥹
Love the addition to the setup of lead tape to the reviews!

I know this doesn't matter but love this backdrop so much more it doesn't clash with your skin tone after color grading! looks pro level!!
haha that was part of the goal! Glad someone noticed. Redid my entire office for this. 😂
I have had a few sessions so far with mine and I can say that this review is spot on. Glad I got mine before this video came out.
Thanks for the input on what to choose at the end of the video. I'm going to buy a new paddle soon. It's been hard to choose what to buy though. So that is helpful.

Picked up a “cosmetic blemish” Hurache-X for $89.99 about a week ago. Still haven’t been able to find the blemish. Overjoyed with the paddle thus far.
how do you find the cosmetic blemish option
Great review! That backhand of yours is looking pretty good too! 😎
Hi, loves your reviews. Wondering will you choose HP J2H over this 11six24( also with fiberglass layer) but a lot cheaper right now on sale>$100?
I love mine!! I highly recommend it!!
They're out of stock! Preordered it though. Thanks for the review on this and your latest gearbox review.

How would compare the Hurache X-Control to the Hurache Control?
I see you went back to having the pointer finger on the paddle face for the 2hbh ;)
Old habits die hard haha
Would the power and pop of the Hurache-X still be greater than the 14mm version of the DBD?
Finally got mine paddle after 1.5 months waitlist and shipping delays. Let's see if it is worth the hype...
Was it worth the hype?
@@Roboto_Gato Yes! Worth the hype especially once you are able tame the power on your drops/dinks. Price point is perfect. Only point I would say this paddle could be improved on would be if it got the spin to reach 2000+ RPM.

Hurache X vs Ruby what one would you recommend? I am pretty new at Pickleball so Im looking for a good Paddle for my First one
Okay MKBHD with that intro. That was insane
Did you also try the Hurache Control (not just Control+)
Any chance you can review the veloz infinity?
Do you have a review for the Hurache-X Control (Kevlar version)?
I was going to ask the same thing! I hear the new triple black diamond is going to retail for $220.
I kept getting confused about which paddle, was it the Hurache x contro+?
Best kept secret about to be everywhere... Dammit Chris
Review the gryp paddles please
Is this something similar to the Volair Mach 1 Forza?
Could you pls compare this to the Joola Hyperion C2 (14mm) or the Selkirk Labs 002? Thx.

The name sounds like Sirachi 😂 when I was driving and listening at the same time.
are you planning on reviewing the alw paddle soon?
How is this paddle holding up so far? I know your review compares it to the DBD, but do you think the new Six Zero Ruby is worth the extra cost?
I’m using it as my primary paddle. Holding up great so far.
Generally speaking I don’t think the Ruby is worth the extra price.
How is the spin? You usually mention spin rate? Thanks. I have the Ruby thinking of switching to this . Great videos!
It was probably cheaper to order 1000 paddles from Temu with control and add a + to 500 of em than it was to completely rename it.
Do you use the 16 mm or 14 mm version?
Any similar to the 14mm?
Chris do you plan on doing a review of the ALW 12.7?
I might wait for Christian Alshons and do them at the same time.
World blowing differences? 😂 never heard that one before
With the CF/FG face shouldn't this be more compared to the Black Diamond or edgeless BD instead of the DBD?
Oh nvm, just got to the part where you explained why. =)
love my DBD's...do you know the swing weight?
Swing weight of the Hurache? It's in the vid. 118. DBD is around 114.
The paddle is out of stock till mid March and there is no try and buy or return
Glad I got one before this review came out.
I didn’t know there could be another level to your videos. Good stuff!
