I live in Utah and this last year with the weather was one of the worst, we lost so many calves to predators (coyotes, bald eagles, ravens, golden eagles) and because it was just so back and forth with cold and wet conditions, one dry day and then back to wet. The poor calves didn’t stand a chance, I was so relieved when it was finally over. I’m thankful for the moisture everyday, but I never want that again. It was just relentless
Your guy’s videos remind of the camping trips that my dad and his buddies would go on. They just didn’t have horses or mules. He would make videos on all of his trips, just like this.
The fence posts constantly jingle like bells! Must've had to do some hardcore desensitization for those mules, huh? It's honestly impressive that they don't spook.
Could you do a gear break down? Brands of ropes, hats, trench coats, chaps, boots, gloves, rain coats, general jackets, saddle bags, the whole 9 yards.
Seeing how sweaty the horses are getting and how hot it is. I would shave the horses before taking them out like this. That way they can stay cooler while working.
You guys drive to SouthWest Missouri with empty trailers for the last week of a month and I'll take you around to 4 sales where you can load up on fine Missouri mules. Buy them here on the cheap--make a market west.
