My dentist told me about hydrogen peroxide + water and baking soda as a "toothpaste" years ago. I have never had problems with my teeth or mouth since. I never need to go to the dentist :) No bad breath either. WHY doesn't every dentist tell us this??

I always brush my teeth with baking soda, toothpaste, and rinse with hydrogen peroxide. Never gargle with undiluted hydrogen peroxide---better to dilute it even more than 1:2.

Off the subject...Family friends had a house bound, bed ridden, mother that had bed sores and couldn't walk for several years. My brother was a nurse, they called him to the home and he started treating the
sores with Malox (for stomach ulcers) he had her up and walking on her own until she past away.

I caredfor a elder friend and when she came home from the hospital she had painful bed sores, and her doctor told me to use a cream on them but they did not %et better at all so i alwsts put peroxide for everything and i told her lets try the peroxide on the bed sores and she said ok, i put it on the sores at least 5 or more times a day and in a week those bed sores were almost healed and she cried and was so happy the sores were almost gone, her doctor couldnt believe the bed sores were mostly healed and asked me what i did and i tild him peroxide i put on them through the day and night, but he said he wants to keep using the cream, and my friend told him where to go and she will get a doctor who lets her use peroxide, and she did and the staff said they will wirk on putting peroxide on other elders.....
Just remember Doctors are not trained to heal, they are trained to treat so never really tell them what you are doing when getting great results...they will only discourage you. Thanks for the info.

Surprised they didn’t mention that it’s great as a household cleaning agent. I clean everything with a 50/50 mix of peroxide and water. Floors, kitchen, bathrooms, great for cleaning glass and chrome, won’t leave any streaks. AND BEST OF ALL, it will keep out every single crawling critter from entering your home. You’ll never see another roach or ant in your house again.

N O ...I have MANY BOTTLES. I make a 50/50 water, Hp3% solution. Recently, I had infection near a root canal site in my gums. I took an antibiotic the dentist recommended, but the pain returned. I put HP on it, rubbing it on the sore area of the gums. It is almost gone, because, I had a sneaky feeling I had a mild sinus infection that caused this issue. My dentist disagreed, but I listen to my gut feelings. I got a tiny bottle, and mixed my 50/50 solution, and put one drop in each nostril. I let it sit for a few minates then blew it out. Since then, it iseemed to relieve the pain further, until it was just about zero.

Been using straight HP for a gargle for 60 years. Teeth are fine. Kills bacteria that can enter the endothelial lining of arteries and the heart resulting in inflamation and heart attacks.
@@user-ij8pv3jh8wthe baking soda has a scouring effect and wears away enamel. I also find if I rinse my mouth with peroxide it for more than two days my sensitive teeth are more sensitive, even with a special toothpaste.

Never put tap water in your nose. I’m an RN and that could lead to infection. Use distilled water. Easy to find in the water section. I’ve used a neti pot most of my life because of a bad deviated septum. Good luck. 👍

I spray my cactus with one cup of it to a gallon un_chlorinated water. For deep cuts or rot, use it straight a lot.

To get 3% hydrogen peroxide you just need to freeze the bottle and after it's frozen just pour the liquid that's left unfrozen. That's 3% hydrogen peroxide.

NO! The ratio of diluting from35% to 3% is 1:12 with DISTILLED WATER!
This sounds like nonsense. 3%H2O2 will freeze solid while 35%H2O2 will remain liquid in the freezer.

Doesn't matter if you swallow bit now and then. As long as using just 3% strength and then have diluted it further 1 to 1. In fact as soon as it touches your skin it enters s the bloodstream. But then we get into science and yt does not allow truth.

Putting Hydrogen Peroxide in your hair will turn it a lighter red color that can be embarrassing if you don't want to mess with your hair color. Like it is ok if you have blond hair. But if you are a middle aged business man with dark hair and you come into the office looking like a punk rocker, you are going to get laughed at.
I used it to clean a wound on my 8-year old son’s face near his hair line and it turned this hair blonde! BTW, we are Black😊
I streaked my hair once with 6% peroxide on my fingers from the bottle run my fingers all through my hair until it was a bit wet through most of my hair. I saw it later in a photograph it looked beautiful golden blonde.

I caution the use of hydrogen peroxide for ear wax removal. I used it and suffered an ear infection within a few days.
A doctor once said that 75% of infections were cured by using H2O2 on the ear. It could have been a coincidence.
I wish you would say HOW you used it. With a Q-tip or just irrigation? How far inside the ear cavity? Did you touch the eardrum? Statements like yours are not responsible. Explain yourself please.
I use it about once a month and haven't had any problems, I soak a qtip and just listen to the bubbling in my ears..

However, I wished someone had cautioned me and I would have sought medical advice-at least from a pharmacist. And I still suggest caution.
You can drop in isopropyl alcohol to dry out you ears after cleaning them with HP.

Swollen gums yes in 1 day it will feel better I use the spray bottle and spray it on my gums. I also love it for ear wax or if my ears are plugged I put it in one ear and wait for it to unplugg the other side and it works like magic.

be very careful using it for ears. I used some and it got behind my ear drum due to the holes left from when i had tubes in as a kid. it built up so much pressure that it ruptured my eardrum. worst pain ive ever felt
