I must say, now I'm tempted to get this to stand between the MMC Calidus Asterisk and Shadow Ghost. This is an almost exact combination of the two color schemes.

I didn't get that one for 120. But BBTS had him on sale not long ago for about 115.
Hey did you see that some third party company is now selling replacement die cast knee joints. I held out from opening it which I wanted to badly due to your review. I wasn't willing to spend money on a whole new Rodimus just for knee joints. For 11 bucks he's finally getting opened. Thanks again.

There's also a person on ebay that sells them in plastic in the color they are supposed to be too.
That lighting kit I showed you was an example, there are cheaper alternatives. Also if you search google for homemade light diffusers you should see some creative ideas such as attaching a piece of paper to a piece of wire and hanging it a little infront of your light to not give it a "spot light" look.
hi there, I enjoyed your review! A question please, at 11:15 u mentioned that u have "version 2 with rodimus fixes" So does that mean there is a first back version and a second black version? or is the black version "the second version" meaning the original color version MP09 is the first version, and the MP09B is the second version? I was hoping u could clarify that for me as I'm debating wether to get one.

As far as I'm aware, there is only one version of the Black rodimus. That said if you do pick up a black rodimus I've got another video which prior to transforming your rodimus you should check out. The whole reason rodimus breaks is due to paint adhering parts together, so if you take it apart and remove the paint he shouldn't break.
That said there's also a number of people out there who make replacement knees for this rodimus.

Awesome review,he looks cool in these colors but I dont think i want to pay $120 for this figure with the problem he has with the legs,I rather need a mp-09 v2 for my collection but not this guy,btw how do you get the black background to be well lit with out over lighting it,,I happen to do that on my background :(
Do they still have him available? I know he's gone on sale for $120 or less from BBTS (with trailer) during like black friday and stuff.. He pops up for cheap occasionally.
I still refuse to take my TRU Rodimus out of package due to fear I'll do something wrong and have him crumble in my hands, I'll just admire him from afar
