What a great toy! My cousin used to have that when i was a child, and i can't transform it because it's pretty hard to transform him for children. By the way can you review Mp-10 Optimus?
*To think that this Optimus was released during my freshman year of high school. Anyway, since this Prime is too expensive for me, I'll stick with my Beast Hunters Optimus, who's almost as tall as this one.*
Hmm I realized my copy has the short smoke stacks yet battle damaged lol. Also interesting fact: he's the only masterpiece figure (well next to Starscream i believe the early copies and until the yet released masterpiece Jetfire) to be bigger than almost all the figures
I know it has been more than 4 years, but is there any chance you can demonstrate how to change the battery? I don't seem to be able to "slide" the battery box out as described in the instruction.
My collection is currently boxed away since I moved recently so I don't have the figure readily available. The compartment is pegged in so you have to pop it off more than slide it out. Good luck and thanks for watching!
I needed help transforming him back to truck and your video actually helped me! Oh love your wedding ring. I have a similar 2 toned ring myself. Though looking at the video I'm missing the plastic red back part that hides his head in truck mode... :(
I took one of these out of storage this week to give to my son. Transformed it back and forth a few times and it was fine, then we did it one more time and the waist ratchet stopped clicking. when I had a look between where the red plastic meets the grey plastic of his crotch you could see a little thin tube of red plastic and a screw coming out of the top of it, as a big gap had developed between those parts. I assume the red part was the top of the ratchet assembly, and it seemed like when you were turning the waste it was actually the screw that was turning within it rather than the plastic itself. I tried to push the plastic part back in but it wouldn't move, so instead I spun his torso clockwise over and over and that seem to screw the screw back down and get rid of the gap. Still refuses to ratchet though and if you turn it to the left it starts to unscrew again. I took the screw out of his but thinking I could get to the ratchet to see what the problem was but it was also connected to the parts to the side where the leg ratchets attach so I would of had to remove the legs first, and I was afraid of springs going flying and actually making it worse. Anyone else ever have similar issues? Can someone advise?
Oscar Roberto Brouwer It is. It's considerably bigger than the current MP line, but I don't have a Megatron to compare it to, sorry. Thanks for watching!
Hey I've got the Takara version of MP-01L Last Shot, I chose this after watching reviews comparing the Takara version and the Hasbro's 20th Anniversary Edition. Even though MP-10 is far more “superior” than this figure, it’s actually not really terrible. Yes, the alternate mode far from being perfect for sure but, still, not that terrible.
The mold has aged like canned soup. It doesn't get worse, but it doesn't get any better either. The only real problem is those ball joints on the ankles. I like the proportions better on this one, but MP-10 was just built to last, man.

Cool figure. Would be better in my opinion if it had yellow eyes but I feel that that is an opinion shared by few if any at all. Have you considered reviewing kre o? My favourite kre o prime would be the 'battle for the energon' ( something like that) two pack with megs (but the most parts and effort are with prime).
+jacob knipe I did get a couple of Kre-o, the Prime and Megatron 2-pack being one of them. I'll definitely put them on que!

Ah, the old days where this was the best Prime to offer
"few robot parts showing" and then the giant robot crotch in view haha, other than that great review! tempting me to buy one of these off ebay
Well that’s just prime
Thanks for watching!
@@BertTheStormtrooper i have big respect for you I would murder someone for that figure and you can buy it I cant
@@nmmkunst Thanks, but to be fair, I bought it when it first came out and this is the cheaper, retail version. I can't imagine how much they go for now.
Even though MP-10 is far more “superior” than this figure, it’s actually not really terrible.
Yes, the alternate mode far from being perfect for sure but, still, not that terrible.
Thanks for watching!
Bert The Stormtrooper no problem amigo, no problem. \;-)
One thing this guy definitely did better was the proportions of the lower torso.
Saw this guy at Cash Converters on display, cost $449 so he's too pricey for me.
Rugalheid Bernstein Yes, that's way too much.
Thanks for watching!
Im the only one that likes the mp01 more than the mp10 right? I hope so
Yes, i did watch g1
WnM_Spark I love MP-01!

You are definitely not the only one who thinks that lol
@@blankstare3775 You guys are weirdos lol
@@jordanharrington1890 damn millennials lol
The mold has aged like canned soup. It doesn't get worse, but it doesn't get any better either. The only real problem is those ball joints on the ankles. I like the proportions better on this one, but MP-10 was just built to last, man.
