    Interesting info! So laseraway trains but they only train who they want to hire? I don’t see a training program to click on for RNs. Just to clarify

    FL is super strict, they don’t allow RNs to inject any fillers/Botox under any circumstance.

    Your video was so informative!!
    But I have a question, so after I graduate my nursing school, can I directly go into training to become aesthetic nurse? Even i don’t have any experience in a hospital setting?
    Because I really don’t see myself working in the hospital and do bedside 🥺
    And I’m happy you made these kind of videos

      Yes! I did. Bedside experience helps to land that first cosmetic position but Laser Away will often train new graduates. Best of luck.

      @@NURSEiT everything you do for facial rejuvenation and skin care! Threads, peels, Sculptra, fillers, you explain everything so good and you are so beautiful and well poised. There are some new HA Pdo threads for volume that people are talking about, it seems they came out recently. Thank you 😊

    You mentioned Laser Away to teach people starting off but will they provide you with a certificate that is recognized at other med spas you would like to work? Will LA show you botox if you're not an rn?

    • @NURSEiT
      @NURSEiT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      LA does not provide a certificate, but if an employer calls for a reference, they will verify LA certification for on label botox and fillers. National Laser Institute is great for your certifications, as well as Allergan. Per the LA website: "We offer the most comprehensive training program in the industry, with over 80 hours of didactic and hands-on training, and accept registered nurses and other medical professionals with no aesthetics experience needed."

    Do they allow LPN to do injections?

    • @NURSEiT
      @NURSEiT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tracy,
      It varies by the state. Check regulatory information for your state of interest.

      Where can I check for it? I am not an LPN yet. Planning to go to school for it. I am from San Diego California. Do you know if they allow LPN to do injection?

    do you recommend keeping going and becoming a NP or PA? or is it not necessary?

    • @NURSEiT
      @NURSEiT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's always better to go for the NP because they carry less liability and there's a law passing that an NP may be able to practice without a physician in state of Cali . Although it may take hoops of fire to jump through.

    That was very helpful but I have one question though ,So how long it took you to become Aesthetic nurse

    • @NURSEiT
      @NURSEiT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Straight out of nursing school! Laser Away trains new-to-specialty nurses, which is a great entry point.
