@@qman8604 I did I said I took a pic tool and bent it in the shape of the others. However I’m not sure it’s a permanent fix or not because I still ended up getting a free replacement from sig
I had a Romeo zero that scratched up immediately and effected my vision. SIG replaced it with the zero elite at no extra charge and it showed up within 24 hours of them receiving my old one. GREAT WARRANTY
Mine did same. Went through 3 batteries in 4 months… it wasn’t just the tabs though. Each battery lasted like 3 weeks to a month and then I tested those batteries with my voltage meter… 2 were fully drained. One was still good so I put the battery back in and now I have a reticle but I also now can’t change brightness or the between the reticles…. Also mine doesn’t seem to shake awake because it doesn’t seem to turn off. Not sure if this was doing this before or just now
I just one of these on a P365 x Macro and it does not wake up when the gun goes in motion......i can push the button to get it to trun on, but after its still for like 20 seconds it turns off, and wont come back on. I cant also get it to flash to change the reticle option, but tapping it does nothing, and then it stops flashing. 20 minutes into this sight and I already hate it.
@@chickchickboom324 I noticed the same battery connection issue - What was your "fix"? I tried bending it out and everytime I put it back together its the same story.
Ps.. I know I said “I didn’t change the battery yet” but in the beginning I said I did, I installed a new battery before attempting to fix the tab. After it still didn’t work I then tried to fix the tab. Just to be clear.
I had to bend it so the tab made good connection with the battery like the other two prongs. Kind of up I guess but the point is to make it have good contact
I have the same issue the battery connector is bent...I got a replacement from sig they confirmed what is causing this the battery plastic cover... Sig When you get your replacement, do not apply that chem barrier to the optic. It is supposed to go on the slide. With your setup, you don’t even need it since there are no gasses coming through that plate. Putting it on the sight can cause improper seating of the battery in the compartment
Also…. I did have to push and hold down the button with a tool for 2 seconds to turn it on. Then it works with the “shake awake”
You should have talked about how you fixed the tab that would have been helpful in your video

@@etzioschmetzio2168 I think the fix if that don’t work would be sending it in to sig and let them fix or replace it.
Mine did the exact same thing. Bent the tab up and it’s working again
Have you shot it since too?

*update* reached out to Sigg warranty department and they had me send it to them, postage paid for. They sent me a brand new one
I’ll probably have to do the same. Even tho it works now my guess is it won’t for long
Did you bend you battery piece up or down.?

How did you bend the tab??
With a pick tool
Does the shake awake and sleep work?
Yes
