For everybody thats new to RLC the selections cars are usually always on sale for 1 week or so. You can get as many as you want of them. But it take a year or more to get it because it is made to order.
Yeah, that’s right, they’re made to order. I’ve seen people complain they want it faster, but it’s part of the deal when you’re buying a made to order item. I feel like there is still a limit to how much they can make due to how popular these are. That’s why I am saying, keep your guard up don’t take it for granted

You do understand that Mattel, not Ma-ttel is in the business of making money right? If members order 200,000 of these Mattel will be MORE than happy to sell that many. They aren't trying to sell as few as possible, they're trying to sell as many as possible.

I ordered 2 when it went on sell. Saw they were still selling on the 17th and ordered 2 more. Only part that sucks, it's going to take a year to get them

@@motov8-garage832 because sElections cars are literally "Made To Order" They are NOT sitting in boxes in a warehouse. Mattel will produce however many members order. If not too many get ordered they will ship quicker because they don't have to make too many but the more that get ordered the longer it will take to produce, package, ship, and distribute. That's only true of the sElections cars or "choice" car as he calls it (the cars that members get to vote on) Most other RLC cars are already made and ready to go.

That’s why I’m not gonna take my chances. People thought the freight liner was gonna always be in stock and it sold out in less than a day. All I’m saying is, don’t be fooled into a false sense of security, treat this like a normal RLC drop.
I’m not getting this solely because we could’ve gotten the raised AMC Javelin or the 68 Plymouth Barracuda, but nooo we end up with something that’s been done a million times

Hey, i put the r34 and the Paganini Huayira in the same order. My question is: Is the order going to be arriving at the pre order date or will they send me the Paganini separate even tho they are in the same order?

No it’s open to everyone who is an RLC member. So I would get the membership now, get shop pay set up so you can have a nice clean transition from cart to checkout.

They won't close the window early because they "sold out" of Skylines, this is Mattel's way of "printing money" they want the funds to keep rolling in as much as possible. The only time they would consider closing the order window is if the amount they have to produce is beyond their capabilities. They only have about a year (give or take) to produce, package, and ship the cars. Example is if they only get 10,000 pieces ordered in the window, they cars will be shipped a lot sooner but if they get 500,000 orders, they might have to shut the window early because they can't possibly produce that many cars without shutting down other lines just to work on one model. They can't sacrifice regular business. The more Skylines that get ordered will take longer for members to receive. Personally, I'm going to order my Skyline with the Pagani next week and just pay the one shipping charge.
I'm loosing interest in Skylines in general. Imo, the cars are way overplayed in diecast. My bet is, that by delivery, the Nissan fad will have moved on, probably to F1, and maybe to RX7s.
You also forgot to mention or maybe you didn't realize that the sElections Skyline will not be shipping until December 2025 or possibly January 2026!

Hot Wheels should be renamed to Hot Skylines, and they should release at least one skyline every month, so may be then people will be happy.
