Great review. I too have been disappointed by RLC offerings. I think Mattel has let greed overtake a commitment to improving the lineup. There are some great castings here and there, but I am tired of chasing the best and the scalper culture that has taken over Hot Wheels culture. I will still be collecting HW (started with the first set in 1968 as a 5-year old. But I am now focused on quality over completeness and must haves. In my 60s I am focusing on a highly selective curated collection instead and now trying my hand at detailed custom work. There are some amazing after-market creators in this community. Good job and I love how brutally honest you were with the shortcomings -- given how special and 'exclusive' RLC is supposed to be.
Never apologize for taking extra time to deliver a quality (free) product AND have time to enjoy the things in your everyday life. I get that you want to grow your channel and turn this into a job but you want to cultivate an audience who appreciates your work regardless of timelines. Earned my sub!
Just so you know, yellow recaros came as a factory option for the 1998 to 2000 integra type r. Pheonix yellow with oem yellow recaros is very rare and collectors pay crazy money for them.
Oh wow, so it is based off the real deal. I gotta start doing a little more research with these vehicles. I looked at a lot of google images and I couldn't tell if it was from factory or after market.
Shelby code red is probably my favorite. I'm not even a mustang guy but the spoiler and paint just makes me love it. I do agree with the king cab being an absolute banger from this year. Hard to beat that one. Amazing video keep up the good work mate 👍👍
Most of the ones I picked up are your top 10. I think my favorite is the Lincoln, but I also love the Nissan pickup and the Typhoon a lot. (I have all 3)
It’s was upsetting year for me bc I started collecting recently since Supra came out and my first rlc was Supra and it came with big gaps on windshield… at least it’s was fully glued
I understand people’s frustrations with the F1 RLC, but personally it’s my favorite of 2024. What’s more is it got so much hatred of the way the doors opened that Hot Wheels will more than likely never release another F1 with that feature, I think this one is a future collectible and will be sought after once the dust settles
@preludeboy99 yep that’s valid, and I’ll say the same designer is doing the Konnigseg (bad spelling) Jesko RLC this year, with, you guessed it, opening doors. Should be interesting to see what it’s like
Awesome video! I agree with most of your list, but the Chevy C/10 moves up into the single digits for me. Mine wobbles as well, but we can nitpick about all these castings, even the great ones. I don’t roll mine per se, and I love changing the vibe much like others that have movable parts.

RLCs are worthless, brands like Mini GT, Tarmac, Para64 kick their asses, any RLC it's just a metallic painted premium with slightly better tampos, they should cost like 10-15 dollars, Mattel make these for like 4 or 5 dollars. I have 1 RLC, the RX-7 because I like the car and color, I don't care if it doesn't look good for an RLC, all RLC are overpriced.
My favorite is the Power Wagon (but I don’t have the Lincoln yet…👀🥲) I also really love the Chevy C10 and absolutely don’t get your problem with it. Of course everyone has different taste, but calling it „a piece of shit“ just isn’t fair… But I‘m glad you appreciate the underrated Javelin👍 I think the most collectors just don’t like it‘s street freak style but I LOVE it!🔥 Oh and by the way: All lowriders have a screw between the movable axles to adjust them. So you can make them tighter or looser. That should fix your problem with the monte

The 2000 Integra Type R was available in Phoenix Yellow, and the only way to get a yellow interior was with the yellow Recaro seats.
