In this video, I review the Carousell App which I use to sell my used/preloved items online! Carousell is an online classifieds marketplace that allows people to buy and sell preloved items. hi, I'm new to carousel, how do I deal with shipping as a seller? so after reaching a deal with a buyer, what happens next? Do I have to purchase a box to put the items in or is it included in the carousel shipping fee?
Hi, so after reaching a deal it depends on whether you choose to deal via Cash on Delivery (COD), postage through carousell protection or postage via 3rd party courier (e.g. J&T).
If you use carosell protection, then all you need to do is bring the item to the nearest poslaju for them to assist you with. If you use another courier, then you have to pack the item yourself in a box and ask for the buyer's address. Hope this helps!
@@amsyaraj hi, if I'm using poslaju, how do I tell them that I'm selling from coursel so that they can assist me? I saw that choosing poslaju has exclusive shipping rate. How do I tell them that I'm selling from coursel
hi im a new seller on carousell and im wondering, for example if someone buys my item, where do I see their address so i can know who to ship it to? or does carousell handle everything
usually you deal with the other party via cash on demand (COD) but if you use postage then poslaju will provide it when you ship the parcel to your nearest poslaju office
Hi there. Like the others here, I am new to Carousell. Please walk me through. I got one buyer today, he has made the payment and I got a notification "Generate Shipping Label". I clicked on that and printed the shipping label. What's next is, I need to head over to the nearest Poslaju, attach the printer shipping label, and acknowledge the Poslaju staff that it's for "Carousell", so I don't need to pay anything. Once that's confirmed and posted, the tracking number will trigger the Carousell app that it is pending to ship.

Hai nak tanye, kalau kita nak suruh orang review barang kita. Kita nak kena chat dia ke, atau buyer yg selalunya sukarela bagi review? Sebab haritu ada chat buyer suruh review barang kita beli, tapi dia tak review pun 😅 Dan kalau nak suruh buyer review ni, Kita sebagai seller pun kena review buyer jugak eh? Maksudnya dua ii review antara satu sama lain, ke tak payah? Maaf kalau banyak tanya, sebab baru join carousell ni 😅

But can I know for the delivery method, we put the delivery charges based on the courier we used? Or how? Cz I have used Shopee they just arranged for us we only need to print the airwaybill.
Hi, you can set the delivery charges when listing your order and that will be added to the total amount that the buyer has to pay. You then just drop off your parcel following the instructions provided once the buyer has paid

Hello! I have a question regarding shipping method, does Carousell provide your airwaybill like Shopee does?
Nope, you just show your shipping details on your phone to your courier of choice and they will help you process it
Bang lepas kita deal dgn customer... Pastu kita pergi kat pos laju and camana nak beritahu yg kita nk post ni brg carousell and mcm saya dh ada kotak so mcm mana dgn alamat , bag plastik pos laju and nk track our parcel

I don’t understand why this platform (carousell) gives so less information to seller / buyer, they should let us know what is the proper procedure at least some tutorial fr listing until seller receives the payment or buyer receives their items.

hi, you can see the updates on the carousell app itself. Just like when you buy from Shopee you can see the status of your purchase/transaction

What if the buyer didn't press "I have received my item" after item has been delivered? Will I still receive my income?

I just accept the offer from buyers. Now, how about the payment? Are they transfer to my account or they pay to Carousel, then Carousel pay me? I'm scared it's a scam
A more secure method of payment is through carousell protection. Otherweise, you can arrange for cash on delivery where the buyer pays after receiving the item in person

Hi..I'm a buyer..and I want to return the items to the seller back..but I don't know how to do it..do I have to use same tracking number when seller send me the items or new tracking number? And how do carousell know that my parcel already arrived to the seller? And how carousell process the refund to me..please I got really confused using this app
Hi, personally I have not had any experience returning an item to a seller via carousell protection. I would suggest arranging the return of the item using a courier and once the seller has received the item they can then refund you. As always do your due diligence in every transaction. Hi, May I ask when we want to collect money, the bank card must have at least RM500 to receive money. Does Carousell really have such a condition?

Hi, not heard of such a thing. I havent used carousell protection in awhile. I usually arrange for COD in person after messaging with the buyer/seller
Kalau kita jual barang kat carousell, macam mana nak tau org tu dah bayar atau tidak, sekiranya dia bayar terus dengan carousell

I'm a new seller,can i ask for i was listed a ikea pillow but carousell remove it and said my listing was duplicate, i just have one list only, still cannot figured out what's going on.
About payment if a buyer bank transfer me, Is that i need to add my debit card on that "my payment method" ?
Hi, if it says there is a duplicate then you probably listed it out twice. If not, try delete the listing and relist it.
If he bank transfers you through carousell protection, then you need to add your debit card

Hi the most convenient would be cash on delivery where the buyer meets the seller in person to buy the item. You can also buy through carousell protection if you want an online transaction

as in drop off your package at the post office of your choice (i.e. the courier company you choose)

Hi, carousell is just a platform to connect buyers and sellers. You can arrange with the buyer/seller to meet up in person to deal. Alternatively, if using carousel protection just drop your item at a nearby post office making sure to provide the necessary details

Hi, if you mean the one that I'm selling then its original bought from the UK. But I cant speak on behalf of all the products sold on Carousell. You will need to do your own due diligence
