Hi, I love your style of teaching . Especially your humor !!! I've been an herbalist for almost 40 years, and still learning. You've taught me some valuable tips. Thanks so much! Many herbal blessings!!
I can not even tell you how happy I am to find you. I have looked everywhere for information like this without having to pay 100 to 150 which I have never been able to afford in my life. I am going to binge watch, share and like every video you have!
I’m so glad my mother sent me to your Instagram. We come from a line of Cherokee healers and I’m always at my best when I’m one with the forest and waters. It’s important to stay grounded despite our upbringing and as a mother of two special needs children in a time of warfare while building I find your channels to be truly inspirational and totally relatable! Your a beautiful person with so much to offer! Thank you for being here! ❤️
Okay. I just subbed your channel! This has got to be one of the most informative TH-cam channels I've ever come across!! You have so much knowledge... thank you so so much for sharing it with all of us.
I notice some seeds has worms and so it needs to open up before it process and worms are big as I open it myself... avocado is very heavy oil I guess...
Love you so much!! I have recommended my grandkids watch your videos for homeschool. They live in Washington state. They have been collected plant material for me and sending it to me in Alabama. Just got a big box of beautiful rose hips from them.
I am just soaking up so much info from you! Thank you for sharing all of this with us and not acting like this process is just way above our ordinary mortals heads. This is the beautiful thing about you and Susan Weed...you make this easy to understand and do ourselves. ♡♡
For me, your teachings are perfect: natural and non-fussy. You've brought magical medicinal herbalism back into my life. Thank you and Goddess Bless. :-D
Such an amazing teacher you are women! I’m so intrigued by you, you’re voice, you’re looks and you’re knowledge. Thankyou for you’re presence on this platform, truly I am grateful for the knowledge you teach. 💕✨
Do you pick wilted rosehips or pick perfect and let sit for say a week and will, before putting in mason jar. Thank you for instilling confidence in us, your audience, that we can do this.
Hey mama, I am so stoked I found this video! I watch as many I can find of yours! This one was particularly helpful, thanks for all the detailed info! And I love your ramble!! I like real people. Shine on!! 💜🧡❤
I have to comment when you said put it on the fridge, when I was a girl my mom used to sit our bread dough in the pan on top of the fridge and I never thought about that was the reason she was doing it was to put it in a warm spot to help it rise!!
We have so many dog rose bushes near my home in Scotland. Can’t wait to get out in the autumn to early winter to harvest some rose hips!! I adore this plant ally ❤️❤️❤️
I found your channel a few days ago. I am very impressed with the way you teach. Your videos are straightforward and you have no qualms about putting your weaknesses up front. I teach gardening and permaculture the same way. Thank you for taking the time to do this. It is very much appreciated.Sincerely, Jeff
You are a magical gift to us all. Thank you for taking the time and patience to share your knowledge and encouraging us all to put more trust into the wisdom of our Mother Earth❤️
Love you, girl. Been watching you for a long time now. When I wonder about something that I have not seen, I look up your videos and find my answer. Than you so much for being you. I would love to attend your classes in Oregon, if you have them.❤️❤️❤️
I'm so happy to have discovered you! I love all the great information you provide with the imperfections included. Those imperfections make you much more relatable for me. During some lonely times it is your videos that I seek. It is like having afternoon tea with a friend who is determined to take my mind off whatever is bothering me with ever-so-useful information. 💖
You remind me of Rory of the Gilmore Girls !! Your voice and your knowledge sound like her!! I guess I picked my rose hips too soon. Hopefully, I will still have some by December.
Thanks again April for another informative video! Avocado oil has been my choice for quite awhile now. Glad you shared about watching for spoilage as it’s happened to one of my creations before. Always hate to throw them out, but when it’s bad, it’s bad!
I came across your video. Very first I've seen of yours. I have access to tons of rosehips, and I make body products. Thank you for all of the generous information.
I love every video that I've watched. I have learned so much from you. I believe it's wonderful to pass down your knowledge of our ancestors ways of working with the earth and all the wonderful things she is kind enough to share with us. I live in northern West Virginia and wonder if I can forage for rose hips in my area? I've been wanting to spot some for awhile now No luck yet. I throughly enjoy every video.
I could watch your videos non stop! Thank you for sharing your endless knowledge with me / us! Thank you for explaining things so well! My brain doesn’t always get things the first time around. 😆But you’re so enjoyable and easy to listen to. I would have never tried to make serums, or tinctures before finding your channel!
You have to be the most knowledgeable person, I love all your videos. I need a Salve for one huge scar across my chest, double mastectomy. Please let me know what will help heal my scar. You are an inspiration to all. Thank you so much Therese xoxo
Wow this video was made 3 years ago and I’m just now finding it. Your info is amazing 🤩 can you please talk about making tincture and oil infused with dry herbs. I live in the city and it’s impossible to find fresh herbs so I order mostly online. Thank you ☺️
Hooray!!! I got a wild hare to make some rose hip oil yesterday... but when I got it all together I couldn't find my almond oil.... and subbed avocado oil, not knowing if that was ok... So thrilled that I saw this video!! You're a gem!!!
Just found your channel and just love your down to earth style. You are a great teacher and absolutely love your humour I often burst out laughing and it's so uplifting thank you. X
I've had pretty good luck removing water from oils by first pouring it into a mold like a bundt pan or something similar, letting it settle, then freezing it. Once frozen, I can unmold it, slice off the water layer (may lose some oil but that's okay), then put it into a bowl until it melts so I can re-bottle it.
You are so knowledgeable and I am learning so much! Thank you! ❤️ I also appreciate that you offer your expertise at no cost….. but if you ever decide to write a book I’d buy it. 😁 Addendum: I just found your offerings store and that you have written a book! I look forward to purchasing and reading it.
I was just accidentally found your video. I just started making serums and this video gave me so much info. Fantastic. I look forward to learning more.
Thanks April.. interesting about letting the infused fruit to just drip, no squeeze or pressing.. It is a habit..But good point. I love-LOVE, St. Johns wort for pain... is it so effective but you never know when it happened..just sneaks up on you.... LOL I have found for me, that it is good to pick St. Johns wort in the early afternoon, when the sun had evaporated off some of the moisture or dew.. and then I do let it "limp" a few hours. We have two kinds ...the common St. Johns Wort and the shrubby St. John's Wort.. the shrubby-don't turn red.. But IMO is more effective for pain then the common which turns a beautiful red. I never seem to pick enough as it is a busy time. but it is my favorite to pick and infuse/tincture. Truly amazing stuff. Love your rambling videos :)
I may have missed this, but for dried rose hips, how long before ready? Is it as long as you like because of the lack of moisture in the hips? I love your videos!
I love to read about herbs and plants but you’re such a natural teacher and so encouraging that we can really can learn these ancient ways. Thank you so much, much love!
Hello. Just harvested my homegrown rose hips after 5 nites of 25degrees. Open air dried on 4W heat mat for 6 days. Watched your video and am confused as to store rose hip and avocado oil serum in cool dark place for 6-8 weeks OR in dark warm (heat mat) place. Thanks for your time knowledge and answer April. Bless you girl…RIciaRama❤
Hello. So glad I found you! You're my favorite with all your tips and herbal philosophy! For this serum, if I use dried rosehips, should they be kept whole? Will they be as potent as fresher hips? How long do the dried need to be infused? Thank you so much!!!!
I just happened upon your videos and subscribed! I love your teachings and knowledge you share so kindly!!! I had no idea how to do any of this but im like a sponge wanting to hear your teachings and i find it so interesting!!!
cannot get rose hips fresh here darn it, but i have dried, can i work with those? I really appreciate your knowledge and have dropped all the other pay pages as you are right, knowledge is for all and should be passed on you are a breath of fresh air in a turbulent world

Can I use a yougart maker to heat the dried rose hips and for how long?
