early 2000 comedies are top tier
It's so strange to see a new generation of audiences seeing jokes from our time. I was a young adult when this was seen, and seeing Dustin Hoffman and Robert DeNiro, Barbara Streisand acting opposite each other in a type of comedy atypical for them was, first of all, something extraordinary. The jokes served us with such fervor. But, this shows the passage of time
i just remember seeing Barbara in it, knowing that she really doesn't do movies anymore and it was a big surprise. It's a shame that she doesn't do more she's so lovely and great.

I remember when this movie came out and it was a huge sensation, especially among Barbra Streisand fans. I don't know if I'd call i better than the first, but it's comparable.
Bigger fan of the first, the tension was top tier 😂 this is also great don't get me wrong

Djimon Honsou is excellent. He and Di Caprio in Blood Diamond are about as good as it gets. Great story too. Plus, Arnold Vosloo and Jennifer Connolly are also on their A-game. But Djimon's performance is shattering.

Watching this movie as an adult now I'm realizing just how trash both sets of parents are, it's pretty wild. But yet the movie wants to only focus on the bad parenting of Jack, not taking to task the complete lack of boundaries and sexual bullshit of the Fockers.
I think meet the parents was better

Dude, learn this up front... when you see Streisand's name on anything, prepare yourself for the utmost performance. Doesn't matter what it is. She's awesome. Her talent is out the freaking roof.
