This is actually the first Mission: Impossible movie to be directed by Brad Bird. Yes, the same guy who directed The Incredibles and Ratatouille. And on that note, this movie is pretty great for what it is.
Brad Bird's direction is sharp and targeted as one might expect from one of Pixar's secret weapons, who clearly showed his love and appreciation for spies and intrigue with The Incredibles.
Brad Bird found the perfect balance for comedy and high stakes action for the franchise, then Chris McQuarrie piggie backed on that in Mission 4-6 with a slightly more serious tone.
This is the movie that not only made me a huge Mission: Impossible fan but also a huge fan of Tom Cruise. Watching the making of featurettes for this movie are almost as exciting as the movie itself. Especially when you see how thin the “safety wire” was for Tom on the side of the world’s tallest skyscraper. The man is absolutely fearless! It was an unforgettable experience seeing this in IMAX!
While I was disappointed that Ving Rhames’ Luther only made a cameo appearance in this entry, I’m still glad he was present in some capacity. I appreciate that both he and Cruise are the only two actors to appear in all the M:I movies. All these years later, I still love this movie. It’s probably my 2nd favorite in the series after Fallout.
Jeremy Renner as "Brandt" was a great addition to this IMF Team, also I'm guessing that "Agent Carter" was a nod to the MCU, or it could have been a coincidence. I also have a feeling that Jeremy Renner will be coming back to help Ethan , along with a few others..Another Fun Reaction. 🛑🌏😎🧨
Yay! Very happy to watch your reactions to this movie!! It's one of my favorites. It's always nice to see Swedish🇸🇪 actors in cool and successful movie franchises! 😁 Even when they play evil people... 🤪
Mission Impossible series will go down as one of the most underrated movies series' of all time. cuz I don't think when people name series', they don't mention the Missions.
Finally. So happy! watching you both react to it. Anil Kapoor was one the super stars in the 80s and 90s and still is one of the best Bollywood actors.
Honestly, M:I 3 to 6 are where the series felt like they were just getting better with each entry. I truly love all four of those flicks. Dead Reckoning wasn’t bad, but I do feel it was a step down from the previous movie.
Great reaction guys I love all the mission impossible movie's I don't know if there's a bad movie in this series but to be honest this movie the 3rd movie and all the later movies including the last one Dead reckoning are my favorite's so I can't wait to see y'all react to those and I hope you'll react to the one that's coming out this year mission impossible the final reckoning keep up the great work God bless
they played this movie, on tv's endlessly, forever and ever, practically force fed into everyone. how anyone remotely in this industry, not seen this lol. imma guess thats why they ain't even try explain how they haven't seen it lmaooo
Hey Kristen. He had to use the car to drive off to rail so that he can get down to the bottom as fast as possible. It's not that hard to understand lol
15:36 the russian actor here is Vladimir Mashkov. His own daughter, Mariia, disowned him because of his support of putin and genocidal war russians conduct in Ukraine. Great guy
"Fallout" and "MI:3" remain my favorites of the franchise. But I really understand how this one (and "Rogue Nation") is the most favorite of other fans. The recent "Dead Reckoning" is a throwback to the original movie. Looking forward to "Final Reckoning" next year. Your mission should you choose to accept it. [Cue MI theme].
this movie was great in IMAX, this movie was the first one to be released after the theatre where i live had renovations done to get an IMAX theatre and holy **** when the Kremlin blew up, the whole damn room shook
It’s truly insane that Brad Bird, who previously directed The Incredibles, chose MI Ghost Protocol as his first live action movie.
He also directed The Iron Giant.
Michael is actually a really fun reactor when he isn’t spoiling the entire movie for Kristen
Agreed. I'm glad he hasn't pre-watched this series, but only for that reason.
This is actually the first Mission: Impossible movie to be directed by Brad Bird. Yes, the same guy who directed The Incredibles and Ratatouille. And on that note, this movie is pretty great for what it is.

_Okay thanks for sharing that information._
Yes, and also iron giant. 👌🏿😎🌴🌙
I love the character of the one Ethan Hunt took with him from the prison. "Are you not Sergi?" Such a fun side character.☺
Brad Bird's direction is sharp and targeted as one might expect from one of Pixar's secret weapons, who clearly showed his love and appreciation for spies and intrigue with The Incredibles.
I was never really a MI or Tom Cruise fan until this movie, lol. You guys should watch Valkyrie. That's my personal favorite of his movies.
YES! FINALLY!!! Been waiting for this ever since you guys watched MI-3.
Brad Bird found the perfect balance for comedy and high stakes action for the franchise, then Chris McQuarrie piggie backed on that in Mission 4-6 with a slightly more serious tone.

Now this is where the franchise gets it new height.
While I was disappointed that Ving Rhames’ Luther only made a cameo appearance in this entry, I’m still glad he was present in some capacity. Such a great, fun movie. Next one is great as well. This franchise will only become more appreciated with passage of time.
Yes, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is one of my favorites, truly one of the best mission impossible movies in the series. 👌🏿😎🌴🌙
I first saw the mirror in the hallway trick @ 11:04 done by the movie Toys starring Robin Williams back in 1992 😂
Such a great series, really looking forward to the next one which is my personal favorite.
38:47 Oh, Kristen went deep into "Friends" with this one 😅😅
I like how Benji basically says "I'm just the guy-in-the-chair."
My favorite MI. Partially because of Paula Patton.
Brad Bird dont get enough credit for this movie.
#BradBird4StarTrek
Ving Rhames Was in the movie for only a few minutes and he got paid $7.7 million dollars.
Of all cinepals this is the best reaction couple!!!
🛑🌏😎🧨
30:04 you mean they *_DIDN'T_* include Benji's re-entry into the room?!?!?? That was one of the funniest parts of the series.
Oh, thank goodness you're continuing. I was worried you guys had decided to stop with the MI movies for whatever reason.
I had the same thought, I was mad at them
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!
Wow< one of my tho favourite duos on this channel! Love you guys!
Yay! Very happy to watch your reactions to this movie!! It's one of my favorites. It's always nice to see Swedish🇸🇪 actors in cool and successful movie franchises! 😁 Even when they play evil people... 🤪
Two of my favorite reviewers with my favorite Movie franchisee.
You know when Kristen says, Souk, she really loves the action. 😏Each Mission Impossible keeps getting better as the series goes on.
Fun Fact: that last scene was shot Beach Ave Bar & Grill in False Creek, Vancouver under the Burrard Bridge.
Mission Impossible series will go down as one of the most underrated movies series' of all time. cuz I don't think when people name series', they don't mention the Missions.
The antagonist is the Russian mob boss Viggo from John Wick 1
Next, Rogue Nation. Also Happy Thanksgiving & Today is My Mother's 60th Birthday 🎂🎂🎂🎂.
Awesome reaction of my favorite Mission Impossible movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Burj Khalifa with no wires is insane 😳
Movie magic. Wires were digitally erased.
@Mirek-e7v I know but it still hits hard though 😝
@@Kaileigh_Broko Yes. This movie was great.
Hawkeye said Endgame LOL!
This and Rogue Nation are my faves 😍
Best of the series which is saying a lot because all of them are awesome.
My favorite Mission Impossible movie!
Finally. So happy! watching you both react to it. Anil Kapoor was one the super stars in the 80s and 90s and still is one of the best Bollywood actors.
This movie is the one that introduced me to Mission impossible movies😅😅😅after watching it I was like I need to watch part 1
The next two Mission Impossible movies are truly the best in the series
This one too :)
Honestly, M:I 3 to 6 are where the series felt like they were just getting better with each entry. I truly love all four of those flicks. Dead Reckoning wasn’t bad, but I do feel it was a step down from the previous movie.

Such a awesome and good movie Mission Impossible is the best
#BradBird4StarTrek
I love Ghost protocol a bit more than the third one.
Completely off topic, but holiday appropriate, watch The Last Waltz , Thanksgiving concert by an EPIC group of people, the extras are great!
Best of the series.
This is my favorite MI. Even tho the villain was weak.
I can’t wait until you react to the Mission Impossible 6.
Hey Kristen. He had to use the car to drive off to rail so that he can get down to the bottom as fast as possible. It's not that hard to understand lol
I really like the team roster in this movie.
thanks for reacting
This movie and the first one are the best.
15:36 the russian actor here is Vladimir Mashkov. His own daughter, Mariia, disowned him because of his support of putin and genocidal war russians conduct in Ukraine. Great guy
Not a Skateboard (Skarsgård), that's a Sawyer from Lost.
Mr Tom Crucero!!
Was hoping you'd have PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES for Thanksgiving. :(
You've got to react to the Bond movies with Daniel Craig
@CinePals this is a dope movie
Finally 😊!!!!!!!!!!!!
マイケルとハッピーリトルディングドングレインボーユニコーン🌈🦄
You guys better watch rogue nation straight up
why wasn't the assassin warning displayed in his retinal camera? good question.
🎉🎉🎉always a party
Bill gates is a real life version of Kurt hendricks
"Fallout" and "MI:3" remain my favorites of the franchise. But I really understand how this one (and "Rogue Nation") is the most favorite of other fans.
The recent "Dead Reckoning" is a throwback to the original movie.
Looking forward to "Final Reckoning" next year.
Your mission should you choose to accept it.
[Cue MI theme].
Rather just not have Michael at this point
this movie was great in IMAX, this movie was the first one to be released after the theatre where i live had renovations done to get an IMAX theatre and holy **** when the Kremlin blew up, the whole damn room shook
