How Atatürk attacked and tried to extinguish Islam | Part 1

  • In 1924, the last Islamic Caliphate, The Ottoman State, was abolished and replaced with the secular Republic of Turkey by the nationalistic CUP movement and Mustafa Kemal "Atatürk." The ideology of Kemalism compelled Turkish supremacy and chauvinism to spread throughout the newly established state, oppressing non-Turkish minorities.
After almost 100 years, still, a secular constitution influenced by Kemalism but with a more "Muslim friendly" approach, Turkey is considered among the leading Muslim countries.
However, anyone who travels to Turkey will not leave without coming across "Atatürk," as his face is present in streets and squares in the form of statues; his portraits are hung within schools, universities, and government buildings.
To what extent did Ataturk's reforms influence the government and its society? In this video, we cover 45 points about Ataturk and how he attacked and tried to extinguish Islam.
    Disclaimer
    1. Although Mustafa Kemal is widely accepted among Turks for having Atatürk (Father of the Turks) as his title, we are aware that not all Turks recognize him like that or agree. For the sake of the video flow, we chose to use his "nickname" instead of writing / saying his full one on every occasion. We apologize if this has offended our Turkish viewers.

*ALHAMDULILLAH!* jazakum Allahu khayran for all the positive feedback we've received! We hope this video has been informative and given you another perspective about the topic. May Allah reward you all, and we would like to give a big thanks to the @IlmFilm team who promoted our video, letting us reach a wider audience interested in Islamic history. The video was very brief about Atatürk's evil actions, but we have the intention to release more in-depth videos about him. Also, the root of the Turkish-Kurdish conflict will be discussed, and other topics in shaa Allah. Stay tuned! *Please subscribe to our channel and help us grow by sharing our video.*
    *UPDATE*
    - We've added a disclaimer in the description about using the title "Atatürk" (Father of the Turks) to be just to our Turkish siblings.
    - As we have noticed that certain people are cursing Atatürk, we would like to advise our Muslim followers not to curse anyone specifically, even if they are the most wicked of kuffar. Instead, Allah curses the kuffar, oppressors, and hypocrites in general terms. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do not revile the dead, for they have come to what they have sent before them." (Bukhari).

As a Turk. Ataturk was a great leader bringing the Turks together after the fall of the Caliph. That said, Turks nowadays sadly worship and go to shirk for him. By paper, Turkey is a country with Muslims (95%) but sadly that is far from the truth. The youth is more westernized than even westerners can be. Islam is seen as something "Arabic" and people who practice faith are seen as "ignorant people". As I said earlier, Ataturk was a leader, but that is all there is. We Turks had far greater leaders in our history, who fought and protected Islam and its ummah. May Allah save the Turks and the whole ummah and bring back the Caliphate that we Muslims desperately need! AMIN!

What did Ataturk do? Destroyed a wonderful palace, millions of innocents inside which was been building for 1400 years. Even removing the Caliphate is enough sin to call him evil. By cutting the head of Islam, he is also responsible for the all blood and disasters that happened in the Muslim world after removing the caliphate.

Yeah we don't like people disrespectful to Ataturk.
even the ones criticize his deeds wouldn't like to see an outsider talking bad about him.
Such a jewish freemason founded a free country out of nothing but faith and bravery… such mason, he valued most the villagers, teachers, farmers… future generations. Women. The ones repressed, ignored and neglected for ages.
You know what is interesting to see; that every nation around has its own mythology about him. :) Greeks say he was a greek. Macedonians say he was a Macedonian. Albanians say he was an albanian :) and apparently some says he was a jewish. We are so ready to see a Mexican claiming he was a Mexican or someone claiming he was an alien etc.
for most of the turks, being muslim is not something to come together around if that person disrespectful to Ataturk. There can never be a friendship. And we simply will not even discuss over the topic.
first of all we don't understand this insularity. What could any Pakistanis or any of those muslim countries thinking the same way; know about our leader other than what they have been taught in mosques or as a national ideology propaganda in school education in their own country… But we know almost everything about him.
Second, the whole world respects him even the ones that Ataturk simply killed whose grandfathers such as Greeks, when it comes to pay respect, they do! By these means Pakistanis don't have so much to say about ataturk i think.
Even if they do, other than respect, i don't think most of the turks would even care. Including conservative turks!
In turkey also for conservative turks ataturk is a very respectful character. You cannot even question this. There is a very very little fraction thinking in the same line with pakistanis, but you cannot come across them in daily life so much because they are too busy with every kind of hypnotic sessions of their hojcas in hidden places. On Quara? You will never come across them because mostly they are poorly educated, don't know english… therefore manipulated easily by hodjas. And they cannot verbalize these ideas everywhere in the country, other than online. People, will respond tough in real life.
The view is like that even with our own people.
You of course can criticize anything about his deeds, but claiming he was jewish mason etc… is a bit too stupid to consider; at best we'll just laugh at it.

Either way, Nationalism and Patriotism are heavily embedded in the TURKISH CULTURE, Ataturk was the initiator of ethnic cleansing which i find disgusting. I have my Kurdish friends here in Australia, Cypriot Turks too, they speak Turkish just as I do. They're good people.
I detest the killing of innocent people due to the fact they were born a certain geographical location which supposedly makes them my enemy? lol Like i said, I'm Muslim before I'm Turkish and just because Muslim Turks may be the ones approving these horrible actions i just want to say this, this is something I was told when I felt distant from my Religion and explained to my teacher it was because i knew many people that prayed 5x a day, gave charity etc, but were rotten people. Their character was flawed.
My teacher simply said, Islam the religion itself is perfect but nobody said the people that practice it are all perfect.
I will admit with no issues I'm no where near perfect and i consider myself Muslim. If you want to learn about Islam, read books there's a plethora that'll teach you all you need. Don't follow others. we are all human, innately flawed, biased and these are things Allah (swt) deliberately implemented. We have the blessing/curse of being able to choose and make up our own minds as to who we are, what we do, how we act, etc. Unfortunately, the Devil isn't far away and there are a lot of weak willed people out there brother that will (i find this mind-numbing) all of a sudden forget their religion forbids such behaviour just so they can get a reward in this life. Be it a higher government position, more money, whatever.
For many years i associated the religion with the followers then i realised they don't even follow it properly. if they did, they wouldn't be able to do the things they've done and have no guilt for their actions. Nationalism and Patriotism are sicknesses i've seen even some of the most intelligent and successful Muslim Turks i've met for some reason they have it deeply embedded within their psyche. I see it as a weakness and flaw, it breeds arrogance and pride.

While being 2 years late on this video.
Atatürk was a world leader and an innovator, and us Turks wouldn't be here without him. Asia minor would always be controlled by either atheists or Infidels. (Armenians, Hellenic peoples etc.)
To the people wishing hell upon Atatürk, great shame on you. Saying 'He's going to hell' is one of the biggest sins In Islam, and so much for calling him an atheist. He went to the mosque & prayed and was clearly a practicing Muslim, why else would he fight for a clearly Islamic nation such as the Ottoman Empire? The reason the Ottoman Empire collapsed in the first place was due to being clearly inferior to western armies because of stuck up in the past conservative leaders.
Atatürk was no donmeh, he doesn't even look like a Jew. Atatürk will always be remembered as a great and strong leader, he never bowed his head to any leaders visiting Turkey, even while being close to death's door.

      🏠 👑
You set fire to it with the 1908 young Turk revolution 👑 🗑 and new “reforms” Are introduced which cause anger and chaos which leads to :
      - Bulgaria independence, 1908 you lose🔥
      - Bosnia is lost 1908, you lose 🔥
      - Albanian revolt 1910,11,12, you lose🔥
      - Balkan war 1912, you lose 🔥
      - All European territory gone , you lose 🔥
      - Libya war 1912, you lose 🔥
      - All African territory gone, you lose 🔥
      - join WW1 1914, you lose 🔥
Which then all leads to war of independence 🔥
In the end after losing so much of the house that your own hands burnt down you distinguish the fire, saving only a room (1922) while the whole house is in ashes. In other words you lose 90% of land but keep 10% :

I can see how Arabs can misunderstand this as trying to damage islam but it isn't. Right now very very few Turks know arabic. Most muslims in Turkey don't even understand the prayers they are saying. And then they think the arabs are a holy race and arabic is a holy language. Which make them resent Turkish nationalism and nationalism is very important for Turkey. Shah Amanullah Khan tried westernization in Afghanistan. He even visited Atatürk and sat in a small boat with him. Amanullah Khan faced fierce opposition to his Westernization policies and was overthrown. It was mostly clothing and architecture like wearing suits and short dresses. He didn't have enough time to get into the more ideological part like attacking Islam before we rebelled against him. Reza Shah Pahlavi and his father too also westernized Iran which turned out horrific.

After it he still gave up the only lands that had significance. Oh yeah and guess who he gave them to? The Jews, coincidentally who do you think funded his war effort? The richest Zionist Jewish Family to ever exist and still does to this day, The Rothschild's. They own majority of both the IMF Bank and the World Bank. "Rothschild & Co is one of the world's largest independent financial advisory groups" All blood money.
You can love Turkey as blindly as you want but don't put Ataturk on such a pedestal. He was a puppet that did as he was told, or guess what? they'd have wiped him out and replaced him with someone that would be compliant.
it's not secret either, no one seems to care to follow the money trail, the most important aspect of all and the Rothschilds were the ones who decided who got the money to win the wars and who didn't. Often funding both sides so they accrued massive debts with them and then they had them in the palm of their hands, free to do with them as they pleased. Thats the reality tugce. Harsh and twisted but thats the world we live in. Money, is always inevitably the key factor. The Jews understood that, so well that they essentially bought Israel via creating divisions in the Islamic world and playing mind games like the Devil and used the Arabs to ultimately turn on them as well. They shouldn't have expected any integrity from people that were so clearly divisive.

Islam is interpreted differently by millions and only allowed to follow the interpretations of the leaders and no one else. Separation of government and religion is a necessity in order to not impose ideology. The ancient Muslims were not as cruel nor refused women education and freedom. Men and religion are a chain on women. He did not forbid wearing outfits meant to protect from sand which is an Arabian practice. Turkey does not have sand dunes. Turkey has had their own culture, clothing and language. No need to learn Arabic as they are not arabs.

I genuinely cannot fathom why so many Turks are so nationalistic.. Turkey itself is a mosaic country that consists of numerous ethnicities, cultures and heritages… Those Turks with balkan ancestors for example may claim that they are true turks but then what about those who are of actual turkic origin i.e the azeris, the uyghurs the crimean tatars? Because of this, I cant understand how ultra nationalist turks and kemalists in general have this contempt towards Kurds as if they are inferior when as aformentioned most turks will have different ethnic backgrounds… Ive always wondered this - i am genuinely perplexed by the xenophobia and islamaphobia that has been displayed by a lot of Turks on this channel - its horrible.

Because the last of the Ottoman government was corrupt and was selling us to the British. They hadn't updated infrastructure in over a century and hadn't modernized like their former Sultans had. They stopped growing and only focused on power. Ataturk came and separated religion from state completely in hopes of preserving Turkey and stopping British colonization.

Now, im not a big fan of ataturk but all the "burning of holy books" seems a lie just like a good portion of this video. He was a good leader since turkey under him slapped away the western imperialists and his abolition of sultan was understandable since the latter accepted the treaty of sevres but I agree that he wasn't the best one. But if you're putting up statements where he disrespected isla. Of Prophet Mohammad (mpbuh), then cite your sources otherwise don't polarize the viewers

Not justifying all of Ataturk’s decisions, but looking at the state of the islamic world I would say he was a visionary. He saw where the Islamic world was heading, especially with the salafist movement. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and Muhammad bin Saud Al Muqrin are the true enemies of Islam, not Ataturk. If not for him Turkey would be ran by Erdogan type leaders, leaving the country in a very dark, primitive world, a state much worse than modern Turkey now.

They couldn't have a divorce until their husbands do it. Then Ottoman Empire started to attacked and the padishah made nothing. But Atatürk made Türkiye and made democracy. That means girls can go to school and have carier, they can have divorses, they even can join to democracy! Even in Türkiye u can have any religion! U don't must be muslim. There is a lot muslim in our country. He just removed any religion from the government.
