Thanks for this video. I got a perm a few days ago and it's surprising how little videos there are for permed hair. After many styling attempts for the best curl definition I've found brush coiling the best, it really gives a nice clumped curl. Definitely recommend to anyone else who has a perm
That's where I went wrong too, I applied products, one of which was olive oil after having watched a TH-cam video, and my hair ended up looking like I hadn't washed it for weeks on end!! Won't be making that mistake again!

My first ever perm I didn’t take care of it like I should’ve honestly it wasn’t so bad I’m naturally blonde tho so I looked funny looking regardless cause it looked like I had noodles in my head lol but after the curls let out a little it looked cute I think but I should’ve taken care of it right and didn’t now I’ve died my hair so much my hair isn’t blonde anymore it’s like a brown redish color I’ve fully let my hair grow out without any hair dye for two years just recently trimmed the last bit of red hair dye that was still fading in my hair from two or so years ago so my hair is fully natural and I miss the perm I appreciate the video and now I will be taking care of my hair right this time around !!
I recently got a perm and I had thick hair now I scared cause I’ve been losing hair and now I don’t know what to do or what oil I need to use to stop my hair loss or what should I put on my hair please help me out I don’t want to loss any more hair.
hey love, since a perm involves the process of strong chemicals, it’s quite normal to lose hair in the beginning. you have to keep in mind that you’re 1. losing hair due to natural shedding 2. the chemicals cause hair breakage in the beginning. what really helped me what’s deep conditioning and only washing my hair every 2-3 days. i would only use oil on the ends of your hair. the only oil i would use on the base of my head when i first got my perm was coconut oil. i would use it as a leave in mask for about 30min to an hour prior to hopping in the shower.
You might not be loosing hair don’t forget we don’t brush our hair when it’s dry so when out hair does eventually fall out as everyone’s does it will stay in ur head sometimes and when u do finally wash it and brush in the shower you’ll feel like there’s more hair than usual

hello! just want to say that your vlog helped revive my fried permed hair! Your steps were so simple and minimalist! What do you do in between washes? Like on days you don't fully wash your hair, do you put the same leave on conditioner and styling cremes? do you mist or apply water and style it again?
I usually style it everyday it takes up lots of product but honestly dry shampoo can work and wetting it and coming it through with conditioner is your best bet and then with that same conditioner u can leave it in and use a curl diffuser its a life changer
Uhh 😅 your hair isn’t heavier because it’s shorter, omg lol. It’s getting oilier than usual because since it’s shorter, you have less of it for the oils to distribute too. Hair loses weight when you cut it, lmfao how would it be getting oilier and heavier because of cutting lots of the weight off? 😂😂😂😂😂 sorry, I can’t take any of this video seriously after that.

Nope! If I can I will hold until the 3rd or 4th day but if not then every other day. You don’t want to dry your curls out :)
