It was a great classic movie that left a lasting impression on me when I first watched it at 15. The characters were truly memorable, each bringing depth to the story. The beautiful waltz music added a timeless elegance to the film, making it even more enchanting. Senta's beauty and Kerwin's handsome charm only enhanced the magic of the movie, making it a truly unforgettable experience."

Good movie - it is a little bit closer to the real life of Johann Strauss Junior than the 1938 "The Great Waltz". In that movie, Hollywood created a fictional "Mrs. Strauss" and his opera singer wife Jetty became his extra-marital girl friend.

Thanks for this delicious film with many famous Austrian actors and characters. I live almost next to the Viennese opera house and love this presentation. I did not know it exists. I just read this in the Wikipedia article on Die Fledermaus: According to the archivist of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, "Twenty years after its production as a lyric opera in Vienna, [composer and conductor Gustav] Mahler raised the artistic status of Strauss's work by producing it at the Hamburg Opera House [...] all the leading opera houses in Europe, notably Vienna and Munich, have brightened their regular repertoire by including it for occasional performance."[3] An awesome result for ‘the Waltz King’!

This is a great movie about Strauss’s family and music. I really enjoyed every single second of it and I feel I wish I had lived in Vienna in Strauss tine. However, the movie ignored the great waltz in the world “The Blue Danube Waltz” and I was disappointed the movie didn’t play this magical waltz. Overall, it was a great movie.
So are Emperor Waltz, Morning Paper Waltz, Accelerations Waltz, One Day When We Were Young. Vienna Blood, etc., --- these are not in the movie. I am surprise that the movie mentioned his brother Josef Strauss (who actually was the Engineering Manager for the City of Vienna).
