I was waiting for the fingertip nip. (Ouch!) I have scars all over my fingers from doing hair. Brad Mondo does this and tries to pass this technique as something new by calling it Korean - this has been a face framing technique since forever. And hot rollers are making a comeback! This looks great on you!!!!!

This looks so, SO cute! Love it on you, and I love your tutorials and all the priceless hair advice. I'm another longhair (been various lengths of long for the last 15 years), and I just found your channel two days ago. I wish I'd have found you years ago! Anyhoo, I have a cowlick in the same exact place as you. Whatever the length of my hair, I almost always end up with bangs of some sort, too. I think the way you cut there really frames your delicate features so well. I hope you don't mind my saying so, but you are just beautiful!

That is so very kind of you to say! I'm so happy you found me eventually. I've been here since the olden days and posted fairly frequently up until the pandemic. It did me in. I ran out of hairstyles/ got burned out. There's a lot here, though, so hopefully you'll find something you like!

I’ve been wanting to grow out my bangs a bit, but wasn’t sure how, but now you’ve given me bang goals! I love how fearlessly you did that initial chop. Whoosh!

I've got these big old chubby cheeks, with a side of serious 5 head. If I don't have bangs and face framing layers, I look like a cabbage patch kid! Thanks for posting this tutorial! I need to get a trim, but I'm still to freaked out to go to a salon, but now I can DIY it! You look stunning btw!

I love your videos. And I appreciate your knowledge of hair. Love your bangs and they look great on you! I have been waiting for you to do this one because I am growing my hair out and I need more softness around my face. My hair is only bra strap length in the back and it is fine so I definitely appreciate when you do tutorials on getting looks like yours on ladies like me! Thanks so much!

I love it! It looks good on you and you seem so pleased with it. 😁
It makes me want to cut bangs again. I had side swept bangs for several years and it was my favorite. But I grew them out after having kids because it felt like they were constantly hanging in my face and just being annoying. I don't love how I look with all my hair pulled back. But...🤷‍♀️

I love how they turned out! Very soft looking! I’m growing my bangs out for the first time ever, and I HATE how it looks all pulled back. I miss my bangs for that reason!

This looks awesome on you! I'm definitely in need of a trim since it's been over a year (!) since I cut my hair in any way & that was my big chop. I'm rather scared to cut my own though - even bangs, aside from S&D split end eradication.

I cut my fringe just about November last year as ive had a fringe most of my 37-year-old life and before ive done it,it worked brilliantly,so i decided to cut my fringe dry and didn't pull my fringe part good enough.so with a cowlick and widow's peck what was suppose to be as far it being just on my eyebrow ended up an inch ish from the top of my head luckily i didnt cut a thick fringe and i could sweep it over to hind it and England has been in lockdown so my fringe is just grown long enough to be at my eyebrows oh dearly me hehe

I really like the bangs, but then I always like that softness framing the face...I know not everyone does.

I saw Sissy Spacek with bangs like that. Although hers start at eye level and slope down. Very cute. I like it.

I love using hot rollers because it takes much less time to curl my hair than standing there with a curling iron.

My hair is past my waist but I'll be darned if I can do that hair wrap. Sure wish I could but it just won't stay!!!! grrrr Looks great on you! Would love bangs but widows peak and cowlick make bangs a no go for me.

Love those! My hair is so thin, I've shied away from bangs, but those are so nice! I mean, they could totally be pinned back, twisted or braided, like usual. Hmmm... #enabled

Gabeen has a version of this for shorter bangs that I tried today (th-cam.com/video/1BKkc9gkA1s/w-d-xo.html). Though I still need to grow my outer edges longer it still worked great. It wasn’t a big change to how I was trimming them before - a bit deeper in the very middle, I kept the outer edges longer, and cut a bit from the front hairline going towards my ear - but it made a big difference. Thank you!
