I so agree about structure in a garment. I often wish upholstery fabrics would be prewashed and preshrunk and made into garments that held their shape and skimmed the form.
Agreed more fitted items are deffo a better look

I love your comments about being more adventurous. I've really stepped out if my comfort zone this summer and started wearing maxi dresses in lovely colours - I've had such a great reaction from friends who have been used to seeing me in shorter and plainer dresses. It's goid to step out of your comfort zone! I'm 68, live in a very warm climate, and love to change my look. You are a real inspiration to me, rhank you!
great video again. I totally agree with stucture being an element in dressing that makes us feel more pulled together as we get older. I use jackets, even untailored versions, as they pull my look together. xx

GOELIA GIVEAWAY. I love all of those outfits, but y favorite pieces are the denim skirt and the red polka-dotted blouse.
The black silk skirt is how to wear the sheer skirt trend! This is the first one I’ve seen that I would actually wear. I can’t stand that sheer polyester skirt over visible panty trend, designers keep trying it on every few years, but few women will actually wear it! I wish they would offer more wearable trends! The long lining of this one makes it very wearable.

Loving Goelia - thanks for showing us their pieces on an older model :), great choices. Thanks also for telling us the sizes of the pieces as their sizing seems to run small and I find it tricky to choose the right size, especially in pants. I agree, structure is a woman’s best wardrobe friend! Structure, or tailoring, gives needed shape and sharpness to our softer figures, especially as we mature. I love tailored classics in soft, feminine fabrics and colors. I also appreciate the modesty of Goelia’s designs. I’m petite and short-waisted and US-, UK- and EU-designed clothes always show way too much cleavage (especially Northern European brands like H&M). I’m tired of ordering Western-brand V-necks and finding they’re open to the waist! I don’t much like high-neck styles and don’t find them very flattering with, like you, my full bust. It’s enough to have this naturally full shape without actually revealing everything!
Yes, absolutely agree, Kimberly! I love the cut and fit of Goelia's clothes too and, like you, I prefer to have some "opening" at my neck, but not to reveal the whole of my frontage!! Thanks for sharing. XX
