Hi, thanks a lot for that video. I've been a lyric singer before I took the saxophone. So I feel comfortable with the breathing technique. I have a question though: singers use their rib muscles to keep the rib cage open in order to achieve stability when breathing out. Also probably to increase the duration of the breathing. So there is a muscular effort in the rib cage that intervened in the breathing out gesture. I have tried using it and not using it with the saxophone, and I cannot really reach any conclusion about it. Have you any opinion about that? Especially wondering if it would be useful for circular breathing. Thanks.
Are you still active you on your your TH-cam account? And when did you make this video?
I DONT RECOMMEND SOMEONE STANDING ON YOUR STOMACH WHILE PLAYING THE SAX.... MADE ME LAUGH MY HEAD OFF
