From what I was told, Personal Hangers (PH) is such a game changer that they needed a little more time to have it work properly. After PH comes into the game we will no longer trade, cargo haul, or move things around the way we used to. For instance, quick runs between the geosynchronous stations and cities they float over will come into play. Fast on/off cargo ships like the RAFT and Hull A/B will have a purpose. Cargo loading will have more emphasis on the "Time is Money" aspects of cargo gameplay. The list goes on and on.
Hi Paul, I think you need to add compression to your microphone. When you are quiet it’s quiet and when you laugh it’s pretty loud. Compression would help with that. Just my 2 cents as I listen to my car
There should be a compressor on your audio interface software, if not you should be able to add it to your OBS. I would recommend monitoring yourself and whispering and also do some yelling/being loud to see how it affects. Good luck, love your content!

CR has said that SC is not pay to win and anyplayer will be able to get any ship or a version of it, in the game W/UEC. The Saber raven is no exception IMO.
Don't kid yourself. Until they specifically say they will stop selling ships once 1.0 goes live, I won't have any faith in CIG. I recently learned after 2+ yrs of backing and $1k later that you can buy UEC on the pledge store. I understand selling the ships to fund the project but selling the currency leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We going to add an XP and leveling system next so that we can sell EXP boosters? They need to make clear stances on what the plans are for micro/macro transactions post launch. I'm so hesitant to take anything at face value that may involve corporate speak. For example, they might say they are closing the pledge store at launch, but that isn't specifically saying they won't still sell ship through the website still or even in game.
guys, great show (and i am only at some 30min mark yet) and no i don't like the "chat" in these, so i always watch after the fact (thanks for uploading these Paul! for us who just can't stand the twitch "culture" lol) On a general and especially Tomato's worries about the CIG reputation - I watch you guys, so i know that your confidence in CIG devs expertise is very high (mine is the same, these guys are objectively great within the industry), and your confidence in CIG marketing is much lower (probably for right reasons too, you know much more than me in that regard Paul). But can we all drop the "cynicism is the name of the game these days" cancer already? It is obviously justified to keep skepticism towards the capitalism dynamics inside commercial bodies, but this being cynical means being cool or even smart, is just infantile, and it's bordering conspiracy thinking, which would be really embarrassing. (We don't wanna go full flattards, do we....) Keep being you guys, and push back against your "chat" where appropriate more often. You are great voice of reason among these armchair devs and armchair company leaders !
