Loving the Kali apex course! Halfway through the videos on the circle. I've been training in Inosanto and Dog Brothers Kali for 8 years now. The footwork you teach in the beginning of the Kali apex course has dramatically improved my sparring results! I straight up shredded the competition during our last sparring session on Friday!
Love training with you Paul really leaning toward getting the Apex Training I like your attitude sir also enjoy your teaching and your practicality about real-life situations look forward to meeting you someday Little John El Paso Texas
Watching your double sticks drill, I can finally imagine the story my late big brother told about the first time an arnis instructor visited their all-boys school: they were given mung beans to throw at the teacher, and he "twirled" his sticks so fast, none of the beans got through! Of course, that meant Arnis became a permanent part of their school after that... 😁
Calling all Escrimadors and Kali/Arnis practitioners!!! Where's your academy based out of? I going to put together a big stick fighting event on the East Coast soon.
Best channel I know. A lot of youtube videos having "tutorial" in their title and then the video is just them showing off their skills. Nobody learned anything. But Kali Center is just the best, sir Paul teaches in detail.
Thanks for this video, Paul! Learning these figure 8 techniques just gave me a big advantage in kali and put more moves in my inventory for carranza. P.S. I like the staff and single stick stuff you did at the end. I might try it, and maybe double staffs too.

Oh man thanks, I was waiting for this particular double stick move.
Heck of a drill. Going to have to slow down and work on this one a while. Thanks for posting these drill.
Nice detail. Elbows. Solid gold.
Good stuff, Paul! You're right, you never want to defang your own snake. Cheers from Maine!
Thanks Paul for another great training video.

It looks similar to shaolin kung fu
Yes, with only so many ways the human body can move there will naturally be many crossovers between martial arts. 👍🏼⚔️🙏🏼
Beautiful!
Thank you from Australia were this is about the only weapon that doesn't require a licence your a very good teacher
Galing galing 👏

Beauty in motion! Pugay!
You're a beast brother!
Wish we had good martial arts schools here in my area (I live in Australia) where I could learn this sort of stuff with an in person instructor
Love it...

Galing mo sir, excelent move sir,
Can I ask sir of who youre teacher is?
Can you do Eskrima with an expandable baton once you've mastered it ?
Have thoroughly enjoyed binge watching though I am beginning to realize how difficult it is for a rank amateur to start.
What length of stick would you recommend to start training? I am new to this.
28”. We have Kali sticks at our store trigonalgear.com/
Paul do you also have a dominant hand? Or is your right hand just as good as your left?
Right is dominant. 👍🏻
Ich finde euch fantastisch
Aber ich kann doch die Stöcke nicht immer mit mir rumtragen.
Was mache in denn dann ?
Yo, I was just thinking the figure 8s are so similar between weapons. I mainly do nunchucks, but starting to branch out.
Sweet
I'm fairly new to stick fighting > have some experience with the staff and Nunchucks ,but these single figure 8s are shoulder burners 🔥 Lol 😆
LAPU LAPU depend his homeland using this martial art against fully armored Spaniard magellan

I don’t carry a stick with me ever. Train ALL of Kali for the answers you are seeking. Not just the sticks!
