Chaka embraced native american culture in her beginning with Rufus, then they did songs like "Earth Song" or "Egyptian Song" that somehow talk about the importance of preserving our planet and its biodiversity and also embracing ancient cultures. Then in the 80's (1989) she was part of an environmental aid project that launched a song "Yes We Can" under Artists United For Nature ...so, she's just not being hypocritical talking about environment, spirituality and vegetarianism...she's been talking about that for ages...❤
