I've completely fallen in love with the vision for this project, the VHS tape static UI look, the flip phones, the techno music, the 90's JDM cars with the BOV noises, the wagers and mountain runs. This is all a bit of a dream game for many of us

I love this project! But here are some things we dont like in this showcase: •Too much FOV •Too much Motion Blur •Car sounds need improvement If you need huge FOV and excessive motion blur for sense of speed, then you are doing it wrong.
could so with a motion blur slider or something, just incase there is someone who enjoys it? I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do that though so might be easier to have an on/off for motion blur instead like most games.
Everything from the UI, to the text style and Sounds and even the effects used to create immersion scream Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero/3, and Juiced 1. three of my favorite racing games of all times, brought to modern times with the same timeless feel. This is exactly the type of indescribable excitement I thought I'd never be able to get from a game again, since I was 10 years old.

I've been following this game's development for years and I'm always impressed by these progress updates. It's really starting to look like a finished game. It also reminds me a lot of older racing games with the sounds and visual effects which is very nostalgic. Can't wait to play this when it comes out!
I grew up playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero, 3, Drift 1 and 2. This makes me EXTREMELY happy to know there's hope for us getting another Wangan racer. Thank you for not only hitting my nostalgia but also getting me excited to play my childhood all over again!

look up "Assetto Corsa - Shutoko Revival Project". It's basically the same map so he probably didn't need to like.. model the whole game, even some car models look like they are AC car mods.

Trying to keep my expectations low, given how its only one person working on this game, but it's difficult. You can tell this game has a lot of character and passion behind it, the kind that only a small project like this can bring. I'd love to see an interview with the person behind it at some point, as he is clearly a fan of the era like a lot of us and must have put a lot of research into getting the feel for the era just right.
