People who harm animals disgust me. My childhood neighbor being one of them. We had a cat who had a litter of kittens only 3-4 I think. One of them slipped under the fence, instead of returning the kitten to us he let his son use the poor thing as target practice with his BB gun before tossing it over the fence and into the side of our house breaking it's leg and a few ribs. Took it the vet and turned out the poor thing had a BB pellet stuck under it's skin on his neck. Thankfully he didn't need surgery just a cast and plenty of rest, the BB slipped right out from where it went in and he made a full recovery. That cat was the sweetest animal I ever owned and I miss him fairly often.
I would have happily practiced on that child with rocks, but I won’t need to since karma will catch him.
discusting i dont like cruelty i reported a baby deer on grass verge went down that road in car about 2 days later they had left it and it was laying dead on the road near the kirb animals are more loyal than lots of humans

The neighbour who put the snail bait down picked on the WRONG dog.
The owner is a Sydney POLICE officer and so are several of his friends who have attended the veterinary clinic with the pal who was checking in on her.
Thank Goodness that he appeared when he did and not any later.
I hope that the Police investigate who did this and arrest the guilty.
The coward that poisoned the dog deserves to be forced to eat snail bait poison as well.
I don't get how people let their cats roam. My kitty spent her life inside. Where I live, we have coyotes, wildcats, mountain lions, hawks and foxes. Every time I see a post for a lost cat, it saddens me.
Same here! I would never personally let any of my cats be an outside cat or let them outside at all. I’ve heard and seen too many horror stories. My neighbor’s 7 year old cat who goes out during the day and comes in at night just had a nasty fall and fractured her chin and had to be taken to the vet. They think she misjudged a leap and hit her chin on the concrete

I also live in a rural area that has those same predators, except for the lions. We built a huge cat run several years ago that the cats can access through a doggie door from the house. They can enjoy the outdoors safely. (Jan Griffiths).
Unfortunately most lost cats are ones that have got out when a door was opened or snuck out through a window and their family never intended for them to be outside
I did in a very controlled sitch. But roaming anything outside our large yard never out alone. Otherwise, always inside. Always! I agree with you!
I wouldn't call the hyena attack *a savage attack on a innocent animal* because we got to remember that hyenas are wild animals that are just trying to get something to eat.

Oof, that poor first dog… I know how that feels, we lost 4 cats all to one neighbor who had a big streak of killing the neighborhood pets. He didn’t even poison one of em! He took my big lovely baby, a total sweetheart, and he dumped him in the middle of a highway! Thank god that monster has left, he was practically kicked from the area after he went too far and killed who was basically our neighborhood mascot, a sweet old pittie called pumpkin :(
Edit* i worded this a lil wierd. He went too far when he killed the first one, but we finally caught him after pumpkin. He had been using antifreeze, and well, we live in the south where it never snows so it was obvious who it was at that point
I really don't understand people who target poor innocent animals.
But the fact that they do it and it keeps on happening suggests that the government legislation that is currently in place (if there is any) to try and deter such people is perhaps too lenient.
Maybe if the potential offender thought there was a chance that he or she could end up in prison for 5 or 10 years they might think twice about doing something as heartless.
Not necessarily. Usually dogs are just in the way during things like burglaries or the person angry with the owner and throw tampered treats into the yard qnd that is hard to trace
@@caraelliott9909 I have heard stories of cowardly neighbours down in Australia who will quite blatantly put poison down for a dog to digest if they feel it's being too noisy.
Poor zenna. If my neighbors ever poisoned my dog, they would have the same fate. I will never understand how people can be so cruel.
Yea but people leave dogs outside and sleep that’s rlly bad they can get a attack or get poisoned sometimes u can’t trust everyone even ur friends they can get secretly annoyed by ur dogs so I don’t leave my dog outside my dog sleeps with me in my room so we are good some people are Cruel ur so true anyways thanks for saying this comment 🌹🌹

What bothers me the most in US Vets is it’s all about money! If you can’t afford the treatment they have no problem euthanizing an animal. And Vet prices are more expensive than hospitals for humans.
Totally felt with the owner of Xena. She is a spitting image of my first own dog, Doro. Seeing her suffering made ja blood boil.😡😡
The dog mauled kitty. I will never understand why people let their cats outside to roam around. I had a cat tortured to death when I was 14. I have never gotten over it. I am now 70. My cats never ever go outside ever since.
Keep them in if you want them safe.
I do agree. It's not acceptable to have your dog run around loose, but why cats? And cats have a HUGE impact on native wildlife. I'd prefer that they'd be kept inside as well. We see a lot of stray cats over here, and I saw a pregnant one today :(
@@TheVermilliaFamily So sad...the strays and feral especially the mommas. They have to fight for everything and try to feed their babies. Most die a terrible death. I watch 'Tiny Kittens,' in British Columbia. I have learned so much about the ferals. They are amazing. Look them up if you are interested, look for the story about Grampa Mason.

@@TheVermilliaFamily it’s actually a good thing they keep the rodent population down. Especially for people with gardens and other animals that aren’t tolerant to the parasites. An overrun of rats, mice etc can lead to a home infestation and wild ones have many diseases than can be contracted to humans.
That’s why home owners let their cats roam around their house. To stop rats and mice from getting in and infesting their house because once one house is infested, every house in the area can be.
All the people of bondi are the kindest people ever and some how even in the hardest of situations they manage to save the day thank you guys so much for saving lives❤❤❤
I often used to think that whatever harm a perpetrator had done to a pet, they should have the exact same thing done to them - then we would just how well they were fairing but sadly that kind of psychology does really achieve anything.
An eye for an eye leaves us all blind.
So let's just concentrate on getting poor Juice better.

That staffy 😕 😞 screwdriver 🪛 attack 😢 is 🐕 so bad. That poor dog 🐕 crying to his owners 😢 he doesn't want to be left. Even though its for the best 👌 he doesn't understand that he probably is thinking he has done wrong 😕 and that's why he is bein left 🤔😢 when he has been amazing protecting the packs home 🏡 I hope he gets spoilt rotten after this. U can see his family lov him, the bond is strong with the his dad 😢😭

I think that Roxy needed to be kept indoors and not been left outdoors unless being carried or carefully supervised.
And this is why my cats are not allowed to go outside
I felt so bad hearing Juice cry, I just wanted to demand they stop his pain! I did think his owners were odd for not crying, maybe they were in shock but they just seemed off.

The same thing happened to my cat as the first cat, but it was my dog that mauled her. We had to put them both down because my dog was aggressive.

Cats like coco are exactly why I have a cattery which my cats have free access too. One of my boys is deaf so the risk of him being by a car attacked by dog or human is even greater.
To bad he was attacked I wished he would of been able to nail the thief's as bad as they mailed him.
I totally understand why you blur certain parts, but I'd be so interested to see the details of how they're doing everything.

My neighbour in Rutherglen Victoria did this just inside there entrance on purpose, l have photos, a whole box virtually dumped in one area,
putting wildlife, toddlers, other people walking there dog/s in extreme dander, all vandictive

It's a shame that poor old Coco is having to endure some surgery on those nasty dog bite wounds but if she's to make a full recovery then unfortunately it's a road the veterinary staff at Sash have to take.
At least Coco had no broken bones and her vital organs are still able to perform as you would hope.
Let's just hope that she manages through the surgery as well as possible.

No, the owners shouldn't be sued. Coco was on THEIR/THEIR DOG'S property and had no business there.
You can't let your animal roam on other people's property, and expect those people to be the one's responsible when you made the choice to let your animal roam.
@@kofinart this does not apply to cats. But i do think the cats owners should not let the cat outside. Too much chance for harm.
@@carolynlewis1989 It doesn't apply to cats, but it SHOULD, because it's not fair to dog owners with fenced property and being responsible, but someone with a cat decides to be irresponsible by letting it roam the neighborhood on other's property and getting attacked.

I'm not sure where to post this. My daughter found a very old snapping turtle on his back in a driveway struggling. So she and the owner took him/her to the creek n once there he took off knowing he was home. We used to have all types of god's creatures in this town. Not seeing so much as a frog in over 20 yrs it surprised me. Thank God she found the 🐢. Love u all Bondi. Nella New Jersey.
I’m so sorry no dog should treated poor. Grooming our dog got to ruff with little helping got little cut. I can stop crying vet says he’s fine doesn’t even bother him but I still got him something for pain. I love him so much
I still do not understand why the rottweiler was taken to the other Clinic while a golden retriever was fixed by Chris both having the same poisoning problem???
It most likely had to do with the time of day and who was able to stay with the animal! Zenna needed round the clock watching and care and to have her stomach fully pumped. At that point in the show Chris may not have had those resources. Who knows! I haven’t seen the episode with the golden retriever in quite a bit so I don’t remember the full circumstances 😅

They unfortunately have to to follow TH-cam's rules and regulations. But I agree with you. I wish they didn't have to blur it out. I would love to see some of the injury's as they are so we can understand just how bad it was and have a better understanding of how much pain they felt
Sadly, it's not Bondi vets ' choice, it's our censors who think they are "protecting" us from something gorey. Personally, I think the squeamish should be given a warning or rating or something, and allowed to decide for themselves, since most of us watching are either old enough to do that, or being censored by parents anyway. And why are they blocking syringes in a medical show?? I come from a family of diabetics, I and many of my friends see those things multiple times a day, everywhere from doctor offices to public park benches. Besides, if we weren't interested in seeing what happens in a vet's world, why are we watching a show about vets?

Gosh. Couldn't watch the goat one, knowing the people wouldn't understand him and would have thought he was just injuring their goat worse.
Arm yourself w/ something. Don't let your pet out of your sight. Check your yard & don't trust the neighbors. I can't help thinking that a lot of these could be prevented if cats weren't let outside unsupervised...
Before I was born my parents lived on a farm and there dog was poisoned by are neighbours but sadly he didn’t make it

Poor little Roxy her owner should have a little set of wheels for her. That way she would be able to run away from whatever is trying to get her. Especially if she's been paralyzed for a while her owner should know better.
Maybe the owner couldn't afford to get her dog a set of wheels? Vet bills are EXPENSIVE, with most of the procedures they perform being experimental on animals as their bodies are different from a person's. Cats and dogs vary greatly with their sizes and how they absorb nutrients. Just like a baby compared to a young adult or compared to an older person. They process things differently.
Totally agree with the above comment, and sometimes the wheels for small animals actually limit them in range of movement and a lot of vets rather let them have the limited "freedom" of no wheels
