I love the setup. I being using my Akai force as a midi controller and my Mpc 2000xl as a sequencer and drums! I could use my Poly Beebo guitar pedal as a synth and my Bitwig as sounds. I then record the sounds into the Akai Force audio clips. I can arrange and stem out from there.
Word. Good tips. Folks would benefit from learning MIDI and incorporate that blessing Dave Smith created so these devices can talk to each other. You would be amazed how much of a benefit it would be. Peace
Yeah I got plenty video showing me sync the Mpc with the Roland fantom / reason, I just know the audio is a much easier way for people to understand get right to it
I like to use my X the same way. I’ll lay down some drums and then I like to record real keyboards, bass, and guitar into it. I wish Akai would update the MPC and add more audio tracks, like bump it up to 16. And track mutes.
Bro I’ve been saying that , that 8 max out is wack. I got the key 61 n it do the same thing. It’s a cool feature that should expand on. I’m surprise every don’t use it that way.
@@GeorgiaMuscleFilms Real talk. 16 tracks is more than enough, especially if they also add a bounce feature. If you start to run out of tracks you can just bounce several tracks over to an empty one and then free up more tracks. Like the old school way. I prefer to actually record real audio signals.
Yo my brother this was hard, it's great when we stumble across brother like you, because sometimes we get stuck inside the box,and forget about those other keyboards that we have lying around, instead of using the presets that everybody else is using.you have woke my mind up to some serious possibility,it's funny because now we have the power in one box,you forget that year's ago we had 4 or 5 things wired up to midi, anyway great work bro I subscribe, peace
You can run the midi thru them as well in case you mess up and the notes don’t sync you can even clone those keyboards into the Mpc as well so many possibilities
This hard AF, so you got the keyboard attached to the module through midi? I’m about to get my first hardware synth sequential rev 2 im assuming recording the audio for best sound
What it do King Muzik? My g I do the same thing using the MPC Live 2, Roland JV 3080, Roland GAIA, Yamaha Motif Rac_k, EMU - Planet Phatt, Audity 2000 and Orbit v2. Great video tip. I subscribed.
I plan on getting either one plus or the live 2 and this video is very helpful since I already have analog synths. My only question is did the audio quantize automatically?
@@GeorgiaMuscleFilms thank you. That’s dope. I have a similar setup and been doing it the old way with midi. I love that you can go straight in with 6 inputs. That’s a game changer. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
Yes it's take more time when you try to ungrid drum like Dilla but the result is different! Anyway we are in 2023 we need to have a quick workflow for correctly execute your idea with no lag

For real Mpc X is the best MPC ever ! I know the 2000xl have more powerful output but you are more limited on the production, sample chop and workflow is slow vs MPC X
I have work with 2000xl,500, 2500 and Key61 before the X, and now I never exchange My X for anything else, if you have good hardware channel strip like 2 x Isa220 Focusrite you can add a lot of dynamic on your production and after with UAD Apollo and good plugin like API, you can make analog miracle in the digital world!
This is how I thought it was supposed to be used. Thanks.

Dope stuff
Yes indeed!!! Once I discovered this back in 2020, I no longer used midi. I run all my boards through a Tascam 2488 mk2 which goes into the MPC One.
facts. no more midi notes or midi sync
Bro!!!!!! You Straight Sick wit it....I hear You King...
Thanks for the support I appreciate you
That vibe tho!!! 🔥🔥
That was dope! Bro! Very inspirational!!

It already has audio and midi track mutes. I use them all the time. I have the MPC One though but it should be the same with it, the Live and the X.

Yes sir it's a big help G
Liked. Subscribe. And that was Dope! I’m digging that sound…

Facts I do midi sync when I’m using the 3000 with the keyboards n modules
This hard AF, so you got the keyboard attached to the module through midi?
I’m about to get my first hardware synth sequential rev 2 im assuming recording the audio for best sound
Yep that’s through midi n I just record the audio in the Mpc
@@GeorgiaMuscleFilms ok bet thanks big dawg, I just gotta order some midi cables lol
Yes suh
dope ! can you do a video on showing exactly how you have that running like that?
That video dropping tomorrow

@@GeorgiaMuscleFilms you're welcome my g. Hopefully, when I'm in the A we can connect. I'm right next door in Montgomery, Al.
Yes sir 💉🩸
Thanks
That was dope! I've been looking for a way to link my instruments together I just subscribed!
Thanks

NAH, YOU GOT TO PLAY ON TIME, THATS THE ONLY THING, BUT IF U FALL OF A TAD IT CAN SOMETIME MAKE A GROOVE
Can I do this on my AKAI MPC-3000LE? 😁
Cheers from England!
Not with the 3000 but you can do midi sync with midi notes
👀
Can you do a video on how to export the audio tracks into a thumb drive so you can work on a DAW?
cook then ok thas fire
Thanks
How you like that Roland Gaia?
It’s cool, haven’t dived all the way in yet
@@GeorgiaMuscleFilms people give it bad reviews but from the beat u made in this vid it sounds good!!!!
I got the 1080 too it’s still dope
yep one of my favorite pieces
Can you do one with the same tracks but showing the mixing process?
Will do
Is the mpc capable of quantizing the audio input ?
U CAN STRETCH AUDIO BUT NOT QUANTIZE
I was thinking the same thing .We can probably snap it on the grid in step record
How exactly did you get a 3 synths into 1 stereo input in the MPC?
The Mpc x has 6 inputs so I use three. Two for the Roland Gaia n switch mono with the orbit or Jv
@@GeorgiaMuscleFilms thank you. That’s dope. I have a similar setup and been doing it the old way with midi. I love that you can go straight in with 6 inputs. That’s a game changer. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks n sometimes I still do midi when I’m using my fantom
I wish i can play keyboard. I use pad perform into mpc
It’s never too late to

good stuff
Are you using standalone with this setup?
Yep this standalone mode
How versatile are your Drum Kits? I'm lookin to expand my catalog.
I have a wide variety then I’m always chopping up break beats

Nice! I like using the sampler to do this same flow. Hate the audio tracks. Probably because I don’t use it much. I just turn everything to samples.
That’s a dope way too
How to connect
I MADE THIS VIDEO THE NEXT DAY CHECK IT OUT.

that is true
Come on man for real? You do mean workflow right?
workflow not sound. sound wise mpc 2000xl all day.

unstable position of the X makes me feel uncomfortable.
