The story is just insanely good and breathtaking! You made some two absolutely background characters get their story, you even could explain how Mac became a maverick!
While X doesn't show emotion in the game, I'm pretty sure he mourned Fleetwood behind the scenes. In fact, I bet it felt like losing Zero all over again, since this was after Zero's death in the first game.
I did not realize how much I would have liked to have actual side stories covering lower rank Hunters and the like in the Mega Man universe until watching this.

That was a fun story. I call GBD 'Jet' because of the Ride Chaser. Even if this is non-canon, it adds so much depth to two one off characters. The Zero Buster theory video was ace, but this takes the cake, mate. You've just earned a new subscriber.

This was genuinely the funniest MegaMan-related video I've seen in a while! I laughed my booty off more times than Ashe could count. Don't get me wrong, it was an emotional ride. But come on. Mac & Cheese? The Keiji Inafune interview? The Zero 4 ending art with GBD's helmet? This is both a work of art and peak MegaMeme comedy. Don't know how I didn't see this sooner.

It may be revealed later that Sage Harpuia also contains large portion of Green biker dude's DNA. This is why only he is fast. He is brave enough to question copy X's decision and attack Omega.
This kid is named"Boy" in the official Manga "Rockman X2" by Yoshihiro Iwamoto, by the beginning of the Story, X was quite frustrated to leave the hunter troop and transferred to a Non-militarized rescue troop where Boy was in, X sealed his buster cannon but still had to punch through 1 Irregularized unit for good. such choice made 1 aggressive trooper(who looks like Vile) joking about X as timid and irritated Boy, then X found 1 Sigma Microchip in the Unit's remaining, then in an Emergency, that trooper shot Boy to death and trapped X, then began to talk about the conspiracy before his wishful Execution for X, X got furious to use his buster again, then X ride on his way to the Armory that made the Sigma Microchip, Alone. quite a twist plot and Enough elaborated character for a 5 second fodder. Boy was naive and sincere, like X in early days. but due to the Manga plot, his finale was not like in the game.
Mega Man X deserves an anime (not just Day of Sigma). With so many characters with compelling lore, the show could incorporate several leadership lessons. I've recently finished listening to an audiobook by a couple of U.S. Navy Seals called "Extreme Ownership." Wonderful read, and ideal for anyone aspiring for a Mega Man X story.
Be it as Fleetwood or just the actual 5 seconds of screentime in X2, GBD is a certified top-tier badass. Nobody else on the mission made it as far into that factory raid as him, except X himself.

Also, on a serious note I love how the music slows down and repeats and actually gives a kinda cool effect to the music itself, also the fact that the narrative/story thus the song too is changing or realising the tonal shift. Great use of story telling through presentation.

Thank you for sharing the story. Some time ago I heard a different opinion regarding the Green biker and how Mac should had been replaced by someone else. However, I never payed attention to the opening scene. I thought the Green biker was an enemy who tried to stop X.
@@derrickfoltz8555 It was an old joke from streams. We thought, since he was Mac's friend, his name should be Fleetwood or Cheese. So we decided on both. Fleetwood Mac or Mac & Cheese, best of both worlds.
Glad we got to find out more about not only GBD, but Mac as well. It's cool seeing Mac in an HD drawing rather than a poor sprite. I always assumed that GBD drove ahead of X to get the attention of the enemy so that X could make it past the enemy line of defence.
This was interesting to hear about, reminds me in some essence, those longform documentaries that one creator did on Dr. Robotnik a while back. Very nice!
Maybe one day, if there is ever to exist an anime of Megaman X spanning a great deal of episodes, Mac and Fleetwood will have their backstories explored. These two have been in the dark for so long.

Honestly, this makes so much sense and works perfectly that I kinda think it works and should be considered canon. Besides, what does Capcom have to explain all of it? Well then why not go with yours? It also kinda gives a dark parallel to X and Zero in that regard too, making it clear that this could have happened to anyone. The "mega man dosent have an story" people are not just clowns, but the entire circus, and they know we're all the ones laughing in the audience. I'm glad we got this knowledge. I'm treating this as canon, honestly. It's more canon than anything anyone's ever given us before to my knowledge, and it's perfect in-world behavior for both.
Though if I might add something else, just a fan theory, is that maybe after GBD cracked, someone, idk, found like his memory chip or something, and they revived him into a reploid who looks like a more detailed design of GBD: Harpuia (If you compare two pictures of them side by side, they look VERY similar :)
While I don’t personally believe this is true, I think it is a very interesting story, and a nice way to connect these characters and the events of X2 and X3. I might use some of the story here in a project if my own I’m working on, if it’s alright with you

I started to fucking despise GBD in the more recent years with how many times ive heard obnoxious people "use it", this made me kinda enjoy it again xD
I really wish that we got more story for the X series, at least classic Mega-Man got its archie comics run which was pretty good, but in that same run we only briefly got parts regarding the X series, as it was preparing for that massive crossover event, but I really wish that we got a more in depth story with the world in the 21XX era, because its just the most mysterious, since there's a ton of characters but there not much lore about them, even the main characters of the series which are X and Zero barely have any backstory to them, because they are shown caring about each other and being "friends", but we are never shown how it got to that point, since even in the small segments of the X story for the archie comics run, only showed how X wasn't even an official hunter even though he had the capability for it, but he was still somehow friends with Zero which is very mind boggling, since he had not been a Maverick Hunter at that point yet, so it was very unlikely that they would have even ever met, but somehow the archie story had written them as that way. The biggest story that I want to see at least drawn in a manga or something, is the freaking Elf Wars before the Megaman Zero series, since the events from that era just sound too awesome to not be made into something, and only mentioned as background lore for the Zero series, if you have time to collect stuff in those games, which is a real shame and disappointment really.
@@ColeFam If that is the manga where the 4th armor had been hidden under the ultimate armor, and the one where Zero basically repaired X after their fight to the death with his own parts, I vaguely remember reading it a long time ago, and while it was decent, I still feel that it is missing a ton of backstory, and it actually made a lot of plotholes and stuff in regards to what the games show us.
By far the best and most trust worthy of sources! who'd think we'd get the chance to learn more lore regarding the legendary GBD and Mac! ok now that bit is over I can get to the meat and tatties. This was excellent! the art work, the video editing, everything was done well and it's clear that a lot of work went into this!!

I started to fucking despise GBD in the more recent years with how many times ive heard obnoxious people "use it", this made me kinda enjoy it again xD
I really wish that we got more story for the X series, at least classic Mega-Man got its archie comics run which was pretty good, but in that same run we only briefly got parts regarding the X series, as it was preparing for that massive crossover event, but I really wish that we got a more in depth story with the world in the 21XX era, because its just the most mysterious, since there's a ton of characters but there not much lore about them, even the main characters of the series which are X and Zero barely have any backstory to them, because they are shown caring about each other and being "friends", but we are never shown how it got to that point, since even in the small segments of the X story for the archie comics run, only showed how X wasn't even an official hunter even though he had the capability for it, but he was still somehow friends with Zero which is very mind boggling, since he had not been a Maverick Hunter at that point yet, so it was very unlikely that they would have even ever met, but somehow the archie story had written them as that way. The biggest story that I want to see at least drawn in a manga or something, is the freaking Elf Wars before the Megaman Zero series, since the events from that era just sound too awesome to not be made into something, and only mentioned as background lore for the Zero series, if you have time to collect stuff in those games, which is a real shame and disappointment really.
Iwamoto's Rockman X manga does a pretty good job at fleshing out the MMX story. If you haven't read it, I'd recommend it.
@@ColeFam If that is the manga where the 4th armor had been hidden under the ultimate armor, and the one where Zero basically repaired X after their fight to the death with his own parts, I vaguely remember reading it a long time ago, and while it was decent, I still feel that it is missing a ton of backstory, and it actually made a lot of plotholes and stuff in regards to what the games show us.
Capcom should make this official. It is very good.
