Thanks, my friend 🧡
Legend 👏
Thank you 😊
Lookout, this video was beautiful to watch and beautiful to experience the natural elements along with you, but it looks exhausting. Thankfully you are young and strong as well having the determination of a mad man in the best possible sense. I missed the first two videos, so I will backtrack in this amazing trek of yours, enjoying every moment that I missed.
There is beauty, even in the desert.
@@Adventure_TogetherExtreme beauty at a different scale
Good luck with CDT trail. This Yucca, full name is Joshua tree
Thank you. I'm sure I'll see many along the way
You know it’s a good day when there’s a little gate and then within a few minutes there’s a little gate
The best of times
This made me laugh 🤣
That looks exhausting indeed. Good call in listening to your own body, mate.
I think the jet lag was killing me
Do you use LMNT or anything in your water to help with hydration?
Liquid IV is my weapon of choice.
24.5 miles on day 2 - amazing start! Is Farout useful for the CDT?
Yes, it is! I use it daily.
Watching your vid I could almost feel the heat. How far does this exposed bit of desert extend? Have you considered taking a sun umbrella with you?
I think the desert goes all the way to Colorado.
Be careful not to push too hard at the beginning in the heat, but i guess you are an old pro at this by now. Hike on, be safe, looking forward to your journey!
You're right. A lot of injuries come from pushing too hard too early. I feel strong enough, but it's always best to be cautious.
