Jar 5 dominator is also really nice vs bugs now Also try fire breaker with stuns, spear, grenade pistol for holes, with 500kg, rail, gas strike or whatever else, gas strike is slept on its had some giga buffs so op for clearing trash mob ls throw it on a bug breach an they all die before they even. get to move.
Bugs are busted. I get railed by 6 chargers 3 brood commanders and like 800 different bugs and they are just patrols. I'm a solo player and its actually making it so unbearable to play any mission on 5 or above 5 just completely impossible.
its almost annoying how good the incendiary breaker is. it easily clears every other weapon. the sawn off is really nice however, its a side but if you fire all three shells you one tap brood commanders to the face. im trying to figure out how to make a build work with the crossbow or eruptor right now. if I can get a bit better with the flam I think I could gget it to work cause it seems like a really fun build.
Try Engineering armor with Heavy Machine Gun with Eruptor. You have close and far range covered. All armor covered. Bring hand shotty or good sidearm and hunters are handled. Bring supply pack. 2 strats open for adaptability. I like rocket sentry and orbital strike. Stun chargers and drop Orbital Strike or blow out the back with a stun and HMG on max RPM. Stun chargers coming for sentry. Close holes with eruptor. You can kill ANYTHING.
@@Jaakeup you CAN do it when they are moving, but you CAN set yourself on fire doing it that way a lot of the time. Or so I am told... by... um... people...
I think that depends on your playstyle and who you're playing with if you're not solo. I would say stun grenades because chargers can be a nuisance. However, if you don't have a grenade pistol, you won't be able to do much against bug holes. But if you have a quasar cannon you could use that but it would take a while to close large nests. You could also say that impact nades are good for dealing with chargers / titans but if you don't know exactly where to hit the bug holes then you'll lose 2 nades just missing the holes (I'm guilty of this lol). The incendiary nades are pretty good with damage but can be hard imo just because you have to make sure they land and you're defenseless against bug holes. Completely dependent on your loadout! My favorite is High Explosive grenades but that might be controversial lol
Impact grenade, impact incendiary, and stun are your best friends depending on what you desire to close the gaps in your build. Instant hard hitting delete grenade, DOT AOE grenade that weakens or kills most hoards but is risky for you and your team so you gotta use it correctly. Unlike impact grenades where you can dive backwards and throw it to the side to kill enemies too close, you cannot with the incendiary unless you dive again or stim. Stun is just so good in so many situations. Can save you or friends without damage. Easy charger and hulk set ups. Pairs well with flamethrower, gas strike, orbital barrage etc for keeping them inside of the AOE. You can freeze units guarding POI’s and clear them before a flare or breach is set off. You can get breathing room for more distance or escape. You can protect turrets while they out work.
Everyone still takes Orbital Railcannon even after being mathematically worse than many other stratagems that do a better job. I’d rather have the guaranteed kill with Orbital Strike and stun more often than wait an eternity for Railcannon to come off cooldown to just break armor. Even rocket pods are better for that! It’s a terrible strat for the wait and what you get period.
Ngl it’s not the best bc incendiary breaker + flame thrower + grenade pistols and stun is so much better
