this is a 10/10 tutorial. your knowledge of phonetics is needed for beatbox tutorials. after all beatboxing is phonetics on steroids. reckon you can do a polyphonic voice tutorial ? :)
Sure, I can give it a shot eventually. It's one of these difficult sounds to explain because the base voice is different from regular chest voice, head voice, and falsetto. The next video is probably gonna be on the "theory of zippers" where I'm gonna try and give a unified explanation for every possible zipper including Dilip's variations, D-Low's, CTB's, and some weird ones I've come up.
D-low alternates neutral tongue clicks with teeth clicks, while Wawad simply does neutral tongue clicks repeatedly at extreme speed. Was interesting to see your alternate methods! _Esh_ 🔥

My brain just switched, lol. Had but no clue what to go for but i was still somehow following this process. I dare you to drop sumthin about polyphonic voice coz they say its relatively easy, but im trying to get it for months tho

Thanks! Definitely hope to do more as I get time. It seems to be a variant of inward bass called inward vocal fry bass. It's produced by inhaling with a loose glottal closure, while inward bass is done with the more traditional false folds utilization like in chest bass I believe.
Kindred Harvest everything you said os correct except for the anatomical part responsible for chest bass. Chest bass is caused by the epiglottis, I’ve seen stroboscopies of beatboxers to confirm this. Throat bass uses the false vocal chords pulled into position to phonate alongside the true vocal chords by way of the arrytenoid cartilages. David Larson, while very knowledge and helpful in our community understandings its techniques and sounds, he was wrong in this regard that chest bass/vocal firebreathing technique is caused by the false vocal chords “by themselves”. Not true
