Yes, it is a safe place to raise family. Con is the long commute to Tempe or Chandler to work. Pro is the city is not crowded at all. Also pro is you can find all the shops from auto shops to grocery stores to restaurants all close by on Florence Blvd. It is very convenient to for me to go shopping. Walmart is literally five minutes away from my house.
