    Dude.
    I've watched all your videos for the last 2 winters.
    You've improved my garden skills 10 times over.
    Really appreciate the videos and the straight forward info.

The garden bug bit me because I hate buying store brought tomatoes. As I started planting different items and watching them grow I noticed that I started getting up earlier to start my day because I suffer from depression. I have a black cat that follows me around garden every morning just like your dog does with you. It’s nice to see that you can plant things and watch them grow and enjoy the harvest. New food forest area looks great. What I like is how you have a wilder foresty food forest (the oldest one), this is the design I like the most. But you also have the newer food forest set out to a more organized way, to help convert the organized gardeners over to permaculture. I've watched you since your channel had under 1k subs, so I love how you've grown. Spreading permaculture to the world. The more content producers we can get, the better. I'm a zone colder than you, so I always like checking in with you now and then to see how your garden is doing, because I'm a few weeks behind you.

    It's so incredible when Tuck follows you and shows interest in everything you do, as if he's saying "look, these brassicas sure are doing great, just like James says... ooh a carrot!" By the way, what does Tuck eat other than veg?

      Mine do and they did up veggies like Tuck does...even beets. Mine love Apricots so I have to check twice a day to make a get some before my dogs do.

    • @KristiTalk

      Mine will eat carrots and peas, only if they have been cooked with meat. He likes sweet potato and pumpkin, but it has to be mixed into meat. He doesn’t even eat peanut butter. Even worse, it’s a beagle! 😂 Couple times I gave him minced parsley in his food (for breath) and I got the death stare.

      It's good for their digestion just don't let them near the onions. Predators in the wild with eat the stomach contents of the herbivores they prey on that's how they typically get their greens. I'm surprised more dog and cat foods don't add in some fiber.

    • @KristiTalk
      @KristiTalk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@paladinsmith7050 I give my fur baby Holistic Select. It has probiotics, prebiotics, digestion enzymes, fruits and veggies. Also instincts raw boosters have fruits and veggies. I just wish mine would eat fresh ones and I don’t have to spend a lot of money.
      I planted thornless blackberry for my Beagle. He’s been enjoying it... by peeing on it 😑

    Just bought four raised Birdies from Epic Gardening. I am 64 yo, 5 feet 8 inches tall. I bought the 18 inch high bed. The next ones will DEFINITELY be the 30 inch high. I platformed mine on two tiers of cinder blocks 8x8x16. I LOVE the height. It's a garden luxury and the rabbits can't eat that high.

    Another small-size mulch you can try is the rabbit bedding sold at places like WalMart; it's small pine shavings. The stuff may blow away, though so your mileage may vary.
