Best thing I found for wedding photography was to have a video of you talking, Some of the times they just want to know you're not a creep, and if they can gel working with you. Best way to do that on web ALWAYS is video. A video literally saying Hey welcome to my website and a tiny bit about you that is easier to phrase in speaking than big text or photos.
(I know it works because my clients have said themselves that they chose me because in the video they felt like they knew me)
P.S This isn't for everyone, if you are an extreme introvert who isn't good at talking, play your strengths. However if it comes across you are introverted, and you play on it well you can win people over by showing your introvert personality.
I've also known others who swear by paying a copywriter and relying solely on text. Just you better make sure it's bloody good text or your images are bloody good.

Thank you for all the great business tips, especially about labeling the label maker I never thought of that.

I've been thinking alot about this lately.
Been looking to the Osmo Pocket 3 BUT realistically all i need is a mini tripod and case for my phone!

Scott I use a different gimbal and it has a feature that allows it to follow a subject smoothly. It’s great for when you’re alone and moving around. I use my gimbal often and it adds a more professional feel to the clips.

Cat people name inanimate objects. My daughter names my camera gear. Apparently my tabletop tripod is Sebastian. She has done this since she was about 7 years old. She's 18 now and still names equipment as she sees fit.

Coincidentally last night I was testing out the quickest way to attach my gimbal onto my tripod to do timelapses via its mobile app. Great idea to use it for BTS in the studio and perhaps mix it up with slow-mo clips.

I’m hoping someone eventually brings out a 4 axis gimbal because the ninja walk is a back breaker. I’ve a ronin and I’ve just one of those walks that introduces bob no matter what. I’m also in my late 40s so need to look after my back.

So for everyone that doesn't have any photography assistants and can't afford any of the gear you just showed us, what's the way of taking advantage of this marketing trend for us?

oh my god... Camera gimbals are definitely not as easy as you'd think! I've had mine for months and I still struggle to balance the damn thing, let alone use it. and as for gun of steel... I used it for property with a very heavy wide angle lens on and after 30 mins of using it my arm was aching for days! Serious DOMs!!! But, they are great and video is something I've been trying to add more and more of. for people who are solo I also have a phone gimbal that moves with me. Not as swanky or smooth but very handy.

Ha, the main reason why I volunteered to build the lab network at one of my last jobs was to use the label maker. A few hundred cable labels later, I sort of got over the label maker.

I apologize for asking a question not specifically related to this episode, but, can you talk about a shoot that completely went to sh_t and what did you do about it? Maybe that has never happened?

“I’ve also labeled my label maker.” 😂👏
The only way to get more meta would be to hot glue a picture of a glue gun to a glue gun.
I’ll tell you that for nothin’!
