Holocaust is not mentioned in Indian text books because of political reasons. I was 18 when I read about it in a news paper and was devastated. How and why is it not in our books? I will teach my kid about holocaust and stop these divisive principles as much as I can!
seems you have never studied a chapter in 9th standard by the title of " N@zism and the rise of Hitlêr ". In this chapter , everything is explained with great details from 1933 upto 1945 .
@@user-dp8rp4oi9g Not in South Indian books to my knowledge. It was removed in 1990 from syllabus as the bjp propaganda was similar to Nazis. It was there in the text books when my dad was in high school though.

I disagree. I think forgetting is a key step in remembering. How could you forget something which you did not once remember?
Forgetting is not a key step to remembering. You can remember something forever and never once have forgotten it because it is just too important. Of course we can remember things that we forgot before, but that’s exactly what shouldn’t happen here. We should never forget in the first place and always remember from the start.

And what she is trying to say is, that if we just move on from it and let history be, that if we stop to talk about it on the annual remembrance days, that then we will forget one point. But we should never forget. Not in a 100 years and not in 1000.
