are u sure that was the premise for "Empty Nest"? They just reran that episode tonight on TV Land. It does seem like it was a test pilot for a new show though, that NBC didnt pick up. Because im certain they introduced the stars of "Empty Nest" on "Golden Girls" I remember seeing Richard Mulligan, Kristy McNichol, cant seem to remember the other daughter's name, Park Overall, and incidentaly David Leasure, who was in this episode as well.
