Really depends on the flavor for me at least, like I can drink whiskey and Absinthe no problem but any white rum or vodka gives me the shivers

Y'all crack me up!! BUT you are supposed to call "UNO" when you lay down your second card, and only have ONE left in your hand..... NOW, if you were playing "DOS" then you would call "DOS" when you had 2 cards in hand (and yes, that is a real game now)
Hence the name of the game.... Uno, meaning one, as in "I have one card left" in my hand.
I'll admit, I laughed every time someone said Uno and ended the game.
Yes if you don't call UNO when you only have one card left. you have to draw more cards.

Speed drunken Uno, any time someone has to draw a card they have to take a shot. You MIGHT make it through 2 hands.
You're doing it wrong. You're supposed to say "Uno" before playing your next to last card, not before playing your last card.

It's a pretty critical rule. You say Uno when you have your last card to warn the other players that they need to try to stop you from winning. It's literally called Uno because of this rule. LOL

Well I'm an American and here you say Uno when you are down to your last card, not when you finally play it. :)
There's an actual version for drunk Uno. These are the rules.
-Everyone takes one shot at the start of the game
-If you have to draw 2, take a shot.
-If you have to draw 4, take two shots.
-If you're skipped, take a shot.
-If play is reversed to you, take one and a half shots.
-False Uno, take two shots.
-Winner picks someone to take 3 shots.

When you have one card left you announce "uno". If somebody says it before you get the word out you have to draw a card.

Was a little surprised to see this as a title for the video. For my 25th birthday (45 now) we had a huge party where we played a game we called "oh no uno" all non number cards had a drink value tied to it. Skips and draw 2s were a drink of your beer/chaser. Draw 4s were shots of personal choice. We also allowed stacking. So you could pile up the drinks till someone couldn't play a card and they got stuck with all the drinks. Couple other rules too to keep it going. From what I can remember it was a great night. I can provide the full set of rules we came up with if anyone is interested. Love the channel. Found it recently so I'm trying to catch up.

I remember stacking draw cards when I played but my friend recently said you cant stack draw cards, if a plus 2 is played for you you cant stack a plus 2 for the next player to draw 4. Both players draw 2 but I like the stack rule more then the real rule.

Next time you guys do a Live Try show you guys should play Funopoly (Monopoly but for adults).
Mix in shots and beer chugging (and some puff puff if you're into that...) into aspects of the game. Like going to jail, free parking, etc.
Great game I've played with friends on many New Year's Eves
@Wensley Michel it's the same, you just add your own "bonuses" to things. I remember if you got the Go Directly to Jail card, landed on Go to Jail, or rolled doubles 3 times you did a suicide. Which was a bong rip, shot, and pound a beer, then you can exhale.
Free Parking you got to choose what everyone did, and what you want for yourself. Generally choose nothing if you're already in over your head.
If landed on property and couldn't pay the debt, and have to mortgage something, you can mortgage something or do a dare which is worse the more value it has. And dare is selected by the property owner who money is owed.
Depending on who we played with we changed it up. Some people dont smoke. So sometimes those aren't in the rules. But the suicide ends up being a shot and a shotgun
I have never played Uno or drank Absinthe. But the day is not over yet lol.
Kudos to the maker of Uno. What a fun, balanced card game. We always brought three games to our family vacations: Taboo, Scatagories and Uno. They were the perfect evening capper. This is the first time I'm watching it played inebriated and it's glorious.
They are professionals, don't try this at home.
So, I can only assume they don't have UNO in Ireland. I would be hard pressed to get four random people together in American and not have at least one of them know the rules. Not a single one of these people appears to have even seen this game. That being said, the crew doesn't seem to understand it either. I guess it can't be blamed on the booze then.
I know man this had me cringeing. I play uno a lot with the fam. I also just got the new card game DOS for my sister for Christmas. Same as uno but you can add two cards together to equal a number. Like play a 5+3 to equal an 8. And say DOS when down to 2 cards.
