Holly crap Scott!! Way to go brother!! A ton of improvements made to your bird!! You been saving your pennies for a while. Kit Fox Manufacturing has definitely set you up right!! Your glass panel is sweet man!! Thanks for showing off Nick !! Am so happy he is getting up and around!! He is an awesome man and knows his junk!! Thanks again Scott!! Keep up the vlogging !! As always Scott Fly Low,,, Fly Safe,,, G-Man
Let's see, you are going to bond one of your cool T-shirts to the instrument panel. Good to see Nick using his smarts and saving your butt. I liked your nav light installation. Pretty Plane!!!
Although you say you were bad at vlog’ing, you put together a nice vlog! It is entertaining, informative and kept my attention through the entire episode. The panel looks great and you got a super clear view out the windows!!!
GREAT to see Nikk!!! Looks like he's getting around pretty Good! Scott, NICE Functional panel and the Layout is awesome.. Very pilot friendly! This was a good video. A good story from start to finish. Chronology was a little split up? Love the music input/output! Count me Envious..... :)
Cool work. Good to see Nikk up and back at airplaning ! At 10:50 Looks like the Firkins must eat a lot of tuna. Or they have a cat. Nice cans for sorting hardware :)
Nick looks great glad he has recovered so fingers crossed he makes a great complete recovery. I cannot wait to get the social distancing thing done and test out for my PPL and finish my Kitfox 4
What a stellar video vlog.. I love the honesty that you show us... Kinda like flight chops... I am so glad to see Nikk and he is looking great!!! The panel turned out exactly as I would want it to look like!!! I know you are super busy doing things, but keep these great videos coming.. Love your channel... Hope you are staying healthy during these cruddy times!!!
Nick back sharing the tech love -- a beautiful thing. Hey Scott, I didn't see any GripLock Ties on that build -- dude, best rip it all apart and start over!
Think i spotted Arches national Park, great to see that part of the country from the air. Did a big roadtrip last year and roamed the valleys a bit there. Keep on Vlogging, Scott, yer a natural!
New upgrades look great Scott! Good to see Nikk up and about again. I am just finishing my Kitfox panel and it looks very similar to yours (Except I used 5 different hardwoods for panel). Also built a new glare screen out of fiberglass, that was fun (not). My next cross country this summer is the southern Utah area. I also am planning a Boise trip, maybe I can look you up while I am up there.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share the mods (well done on all accounts, btw). It’s great to see Nick kicking butt again! If you’re intending to head N this yr let me & my daughter buy you lunch! Even if it means Door Dashing it out to Jared’s or Da Fax for what might still have to be a proper 6’ apart picnic. Take care. Again- Thank You & God Bless
You never said what happened to not removing the tubing at the foot level; I believe there was mention the tubes were for the front gear which was no longer present.
Hopefully Nick starts documenting his new KF build soon, i believe that was part of the deal he made when Trent and him spoke about it when they picked it up
Scott I didn't know tat you had a KITFOX also ? I like your glasses . It's great to see Nick .How is he feeling &are his legs OK now ? How's his new plane build coming along ? Congratulations ! on completing the KITFOX remodel .
I envy you Experimental guys. I have a 1946 Stinson 108 certified under CAR3 and I want an all glass panel but I have to have certified avionics and back up instruments. The FAA frustrates the hell out of me because we both fly VFR and we can both kill two people, but we have different rules. Maybe MOSAIC will fix that. Nice video and a great looking panel that I would LUV to have.
Hi Scott, great video as usual. Just wondering what you did with your old Grove landing gear. I would be interested, if you still have it. All the best from IRELAND.
Scott- I'm in the process of building a Kit Fox 4. I'm really interested in the clear wingtips, can you tell me where you purchased them? I really enjoy your video's
Scott the fabric on your plane for your skin of the plane,do they have different coverings as, stronger than what you have on your plane.( staying in the fabric zone.) Do the have a ballistic covering?
Good to see you back!...and the plane looks great, now when you get down here in Calif, how about a ride>? :o)...also don't tell me that was you in that wingsuit!...It looks like lots of fun, but dangerous???..thanks for sharing, absolutely loved this video..
Scott, I forgot to ask you about your helper Nikk. This is the first that I have seen anything about him since the stol races. But he was still wearing those strap-on leg braces. No one seems to know if he had dropped out of aviation or not. As a contributor we would kind of like to know if he got enough to replace his crashed kitfox plane. Btw I cannot say enough about the improvement of your panel. It looks really really nice. Thanks for the video.
Hi! Do you have an enlarged elevator installed on your Model 4, or is it the Standard one? Iˋm curious about the benefit of it on a Mod 4 for better Flare authority with flaps. Thanks for your Videos! Tom/Switzerland
Nice!!! I love the upgrades just two questions. You talked about removing the braces over were the front wheel used to be but didn't how come? And how much weight did you lose in the upgrades
Kitfox suggested I not do it, in case I ever decide to sell and the new owner would want the option to return to the little wheal on the wrong end. I lost about 50 pounds
You heard right, I can’t change them while flying as they are behind the panel. If I loose something electronic it’s not the end of the world. I would just look outside and land
Good To see Nick up on his feet again, Nice upgrade!
Great to see Nick again!! Thanks for taking us along.
Always great to see Nick. I think it is because we all want to see him bounce back and get in the air again
Good to see Nick is more mobile.
So nice to see you full of yourself again. You were in my prayers every day.
Good stuff! Nikk looking good!

At 10:50 Looks like the Firkins must eat a lot of tuna. Or they have a cat. Nice cans for sorting hardware :)
yha agreed good to see nick at it , nice panel Scott

Nick back sharing the tech love -- a beautiful thing. Hey Scott, I didn't see any GripLock Ties on that build -- dude, best rip it all apart and start over!
Oh it has a lot of grip lock ties. Just they new prototypes so not showing them off until they are in production
Good video, Scott! Glad to see another one from you. Awesome to see Nikk up and running again.
Think i spotted Arches national Park, great to see that part of the country from the air. Did a big roadtrip last year and roamed the valleys a bit there. Keep on Vlogging, Scott, yer a natural!
Awesome upgrade. Looks good... good to see Nikk too! Stay safe!
that stereo audio through the new intercom is so much better.

Another great vlog. I like that you put in the WS base jump.
That is a cool panel, great job
Way to go with the upgrades - great to see you doing well again.

Great video Scott, nice upgrades. Look forward to seeing it in person.
I like your jacket. I've got the same one. I also love this style of video. Glad nick is doing well. MOAR VIDS
You never said what happened to not removing the tubing at the foot level; I believe there was mention the tubes were for the front gear which was no longer present.
And I’m worried about putting a 2M/440 radio under the back seat of my truck. Great video, enjoyed it. Looks like quite the re-model.
Great job Scott. That is a very professional looking panel you have got there.
I am cracking up! This was awesome and hilarious-- cant wait to see more vids from both of yall!
I love your plane!
Nice video. Did the same exact panel in my highlander. Looking forward to flying it
I know this is 2 comments.. But you have been watching too much Mike Patey videos ;) Your sound effects and arm gestures had me chuckling!
Great video plammer!
Thanks
just did the same upgrade on my Zenith
Enjoyed it Scott. I just bought a 4, if you change doors I could use some full clear ones!
It’s easy to modify your doors to clear lexan
Cool vid Scott, you and Trent definitely have great friends
Good stuff.
I envy you Experimental guys. I have a 1946 Stinson 108 certified under CAR3 and I want an all glass panel but I have to have certified avionics and back up instruments. That turned out really well, I like it.
You do a great job keeping it real! Keep putting out the videos.
Nice update!
Looks great! Very cool!
Solid music choices as always
You guys need Paety to make you some carbon fiber floor boards!!,,,, maybe with some Kevlar😍
Hi Scott, great video as usual. Just
wondering what you did with your old Grove landing gear. I would be interested, if you still have it.
All the best from IRELAND.
Can you make some video’s on your Agri flying and how you do it. That was a lot of work
It's in the works
Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Scott- I'm in the process of building a Kit Fox 4. I'm really interested in the clear wingtips, can you tell me where you purchased them? I really enjoy your video's
Nice job! Looks good!
Nice video, how about some videos on the avionics. GRT what’s your thoughts
Stay tuned

Hunting anna pecking to get the face correct on the screen. I’m hopeful they all will be fine.
Fly towards your destiny with enjoyment.
“Hopefully we can get this done in the next 5 minutes.” 🤣
That turquoise avid flyer is for sale I think.
It is indeed
Scott Palmer How much ballpark?
Great Job! Super video!
Yeah it's cool
Your plane doest have a red warning beacon?
Scott, I forgot to ask you about your helper Nikk. This is the first that I have seen anything about him since the stol races. But he was still wearing those strap-on leg braces. No one seems to know if he had dropped out of aviation or not. As a contributor we would kind of like to know if he got enough to replace his crashed kitfox plane. Btw I cannot say enough about the improvement of your panel. It looks really really nice. Thanks for the video.
Nikk’s kit is being delivered this month. You should start seeing videos from him very soon
Hey what do you have closing off the area by the butt ribs of the upper fuselage? That gray thing where your fuel sight gauge is.
Hi! Do you have an enlarged elevator installed on your Model 4, or is it the Standard one? Iˋm curious about the benefit of it on a Mod 4 for better Flare authority with flaps. Thanks for your Videos! Tom/Switzerland
Nice work man, looks great. What button did you use for the engine start? Never seen that type before.
I’m not sure in the button type, it was re used from the old panel
Hi Scott. This is a Kitfox 4?
Looks great! Did you cut your new panel (shape and equipment openings) or have a company do it for you?
It was designed in solid works and cut on a CNC
Grounding problem maybe on the noise.
Whats the gross weight on your kitfox? And is it the original cowling?
Did I hear you say fuses instead of circuit breakers? I wouldn't like to try to change a fuse when flying!
You heard right, I can’t change them while flying as they are behind the panel. If I loose something electronic it’s not the end of the world. I would just look outside and land
@@ScottPalmerair Fine if you can see where you are going. However, it may never be an issue.
We WERE supposed to be in Moab next week with a large group of Jeeps from SC...2 years of planning... Rona ruined that for us...
Rona ruining the fun....Lots of my friends depend on the tourism industry here in Moab and they are all out of a job currently
