Absolutely the hidden gem , untouch so far and up and coming getting better. I grew up in those area. Watching because of the title. Once the roads are up to par and a little more development St Thomas wil grow.
Trust me, its a good thing, its not everything you should want. Unless you want St Thomas fertile lands and beautiful beaches and rivers to be sold out and the locals priced out
@@876ByBirth Jamicans don't do landscaping[ing. The area needs landscaping. The houses are just plop on empty land with no ambiance and they are too close to the road, . Where are the flowers? They will never be able to sell these homes when the children leave out ir the owners pass.

Brother you should have ask the jelly youth about the food place because you hither passed on the right after you bought your stuf because its under 5 mins from Portmorant,so after you come out of Prospect Scheme just go back on yourself towards Portmorant and when you go around the depest left corner the fish cove place on the left just drive in and you wont regret it.I always have a meal there when in JA,my last one was just 2 weeks few days.Stay safe,like how you're highlighting my Parish.

Pass by Morant bay down by the gas station I am sure you will find alittle bite.
But you don't no this community ever places in the Jamaica it all nice it doesn't got to looks like Beverly hills some place got to different all can't be the same..
Try and travel the world and have a good look all round places in different countries and others areas if they look the same..
You will always have rich and poor people in all countries give jah thanks for life and Beverly hills or house wives.

LARGEST HOUSES IN ST. THOMAS. First i must say, thank you for showing the places of St. Thomas. I have heard about St. Thomas and i know its one of the parish of jamaica,but because of you showing the videos of St.Thomas i was able to see how it looks. I have seen where people in St.thomas had built beautiful big houses. I know once they get a start from the government they will get the jobs done. The real estate that sell the land or built the houses for the citizens, has done the right thing for the citizens to own a house or a piece of land for themselves. I know the people of jamaica had worked very hard for their living, and if this is the only way they can enjoy their labour by living into big houses, let they do it. The faults that i found in this community, they need to have a sidewalk,so the citizens can walk, mordern light poles, stop signs, and mark the white lines in the middle of the roads where the vehicles can stay in their lanes. The big houses that the citizens of St.thomas had built will up lift the parish of St. Thomas, and draws people attention locally and abroad, to do businesses in St. Thomas. I do hope that the other parishes of jamaica will follow their footsteps or patterns. I know when these house are finish in St. Thomas it going to be a beautiful community for the people to lived.

Whenever you go back close to where you buy the yam there’s a restaurant name Fish Cove Restaurant excellent food and in Port Morant square where you started the video on you right where the foot ball field is on weekends excellent roast fish and conch and jerk chicken giving you info from Connecticut 🇺🇸 the guy that sells the there tell him Kemical the DJ sent you he will tell you as well where other nice food sells in Port Morant 👍🏾blessings

Just looks---nothing else. What happen to the health care system? Do they have running water? How about the crime? They need to fix that first. Huge houses and no infrastructure. Is that all we want, huge houses?

There is electricity along with adequate street lights there is water the roads aren't great i must say.
As for the health care system
The Princess Margaret Hospital is just few minutes drive from East Prospect and is operational
I haven't heard of any drastic crime in the community it's fairly peaceful and quite

So everybody (essentially living) must stop and wait for healthcare system, running water, infrastructure to be in place before they build their big house and carry on with living? People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Ratted foolishness da a hear.
Some Jamaicans are just nay sayers. They only have negative things to say about Jamaica. I am tired of them. Gosh! Jamaica is not called a 3rd world country for nothing. Keep that in kind before writing some of these negative comments.
We have running water sometimes water shortage like anywhere else in Jamaica hospital is nearby lots of Doctors in the capitol Town of Morant Bay all we need is our road
